Ascending to the Clouds

The day began with a sense of anticipation as I departed from my hotel in Hoi An at the crisp hour of 8:00 am. The journey to the Mo Stream station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain was a scenic drive, a prelude to the adventure that awaited. As a former city planner, I couldn’t help but admire the seamless blend of natural beauty and human ingenuity that characterized the landscape. The cable car ride to the top was nothing short of spectacular. Suspended in the air, I was treated to panoramic views of the lush Mo stream below, a sight that seemed to stretch into infinity.

The ascent was a journey through time and space, with each meter climbed revealing a new layer of the mountain’s mystique. The air grew cooler, and the landscape transformed, offering a glimpse of the four seasons in a single day. Discovering Ba Na’s Treasures

Upon reaching the summit, I was greeted by the ethereal beauty of the Golden Bridge, a structure that seemed to float amidst the clouds. The exploration continued with visits to the Old Pumelo Tree, the majestic Statue of the Great Buddha, and the serene Linh Ung Pagoda. The day concluded with a descent back to the base, where our driver awaited to whisk us back to the urban pulse of Da Nang or Hoi An.
