- Teylers Museum - Teylers Museum is an art, natural history, and science museum in Haarlem, Netherlands. Established in 1778, Teylers Museum was founded as a centre for contemporary art and science. The historic centre of the museum is the neoclassical Oval Room (1784), which was built behind the house of Pieter Teyler van der Hulst (1702–1778), the so-called Fundatiehuis (Foundation House). Pieter Teyler was a wealthy cloth merchant and banker of Scottish descent, who bequeathed his fortune for the advancement of religion, art, and science. He was a Mennonite and follower of the Scottish Enlightenment.

The Great Cruise - I loved this cruise. The staff was extremely helpful and ensured that persons on boats were engaged. My husband and I took this cruise to learn more about the history of Haarlem and we were not disappointed.

Nice trip through beautiful Haarlem - Nice tour of about 50 minutes along the sights of Haarlem. Our captain/guide Mr. Coks, provided detailed explanations of the sights in a fun and witty manner. Recommended.

u must do for a city trip - The captain was extremely friendly and new a lot about the history off Harlem. He gave us lots of information about the 8o year war with the Spanish and the catholic influence on the city of Harlem.

Nice experience - Always fun to see a city from a boat. It was quiet on the water and in the boat. Fortunately it was dry when the cruise took place. The captain was very good

Personal tour - I loved that this tour had very few people on the boat, and it felt like we could converse with the captain. We didn’t just have to listen to some earplugs… He was responsive and would answer our questions.

Nice experience to learn to discover Haarlem from the water.. - Highly recommended to learn to "discover" Haarlem from the water. It was a fun and educational experience, especially with skipper Cox's enthusiastic stories. Staff upon arrival are very friendly. Remember the clog when leaving the tour.😉

Nice - Nice cruise around Harlaam, although difficult to understand the guide at times although he was trying his best. He did swear quite a bit which shocked us as we had a child with us.
