Buddha Statues: More than 150 Buddha statues are distributed throughout the caves, showcasing various poses and historical eras. Some also include statues of Hindu deities and Sri Lankan kings.
Wall and Ceiling Paintings: The caves are decorated with intricate murals illustrating scenes from Buddha’s life, Jataka tales, and Buddhist history.
Stunning Viewpoint: From the temple, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, including nearby mountains and rice fields.

Lion’s Gate: The main entrance to the fortress is marked by a massive lion’s paw, which gives Sigiriya its name (“Lion’s Rock”).
