Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - This site of historical and archaeological importance is dominated by a massive rock column.

Polonnaruwa - The Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, the second capital of Sri Lanka, was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1982 due to its archaeological significance and ancient technological advancements.

Sigiriya - Dambulla - Kandy

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - Also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, this Buddhist temple in Kandy houses the relic of Buddha’s tooth.

Royal Botanical Gardens - Peradeniya Botanic Gardens boasts a unique and ancient landscape, a true gift of Mother Nature.

Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show - The traditional Kandyan Dance is performed primarily with percussion instruments, notably the Geta Beraya drum.

Ramboda Waterfall - Standing at 109 meters, Ramboda Falls is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 729th highest in the world, located in the Pussellawa area.

Nuwara Eliya - This city in the central Sri Lankan tea country hills offers visits to tea factories and plantations.

Ella - Ella combines the best of Sri Lanka with its lush jungle mountains, rolling tea plantations, and stunning waterfalls.

Ella - Wellawaya - Yala

Little Adam’s Peak View Point - Hiking Little Adam’s Peak is one of the most thrilling activities in Ella.

Nine Arches Bridge - Known as the Bridge in the Sky, this viaduct bridge is a prime example of colonial-era railway construction in Sri Lanka.

Sea Turtle Conservation Project (Koggala) - The “Sea Turtle Farm & Hatchery” is dedicated to the survival of sea turtles for future generations.

Galle Fort - Located in the Bay of Galle on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast, Galle Fort was initially built by the Portuguese in 1588 and later extensively fortified by the Dutch from 1649 onwards.

Galle - Airport (CMB)

Madu Ganga Biodiversity Area - The Madu Ganga boat safari offers an exceptional opportunity to explore the mangroves and biodiversity of the Madu River.

Negombo - Drive back to Negombo or the airport for departure.

The best way to travel in Sri Lanka - The whole trip exceeded all of my expectations. Everything was really perfect, starting from the plan to it's execution.

The best service you can get in Sri Lanka! - To judge Shehan solely as a driver would be hugely unfair. For the record, I can write that he performs fantastically in this role. He is focused on the road but at the same time gives his attention to his passengers. Traffic in Sri Lanka is challenging, but I spent just under two weeks as a passenger by his side and felt more comfortable than with any other driver ever before. He follows all the rules, has a high driving culture and it was a great pleasure to traverse this unique island with him. However, the most important thing about Shehan is the kind of person he is. He is an incredibly polite, friendly, open and communicative guy. He has a very extensive knowledge of Sri Lanka and beyond, you can talk to him about literally any subject and have a lot of laughs in the process. He knows loads of people in every town, can always recommend a great place for lunch and has all the attractions in his little finger. He is very keen to suggest additional elements to the itinerary and is never wrong. It is worth listening to him and taking his advice as he knows the island like the back of his hand. Exploring Sri Lanka with him by my side was a great honour and I can honestly recommend Lux Traveller as a company and Shehan - above all as a person and of course as a driver.

Best experience we ever had - We just returned from a Life trip to Sri Lanka. We stayed for a total of 10 days, during which we didn't let a minute go to waste, thanks to the help of Shev, who helped us create the perfect itinerary based on our needs. From the first meeting, you understand that you're dealing with a kind and experienced guide who loves and respects his country. It's rare to be able to trust someone you've just met. What sets him apart, besides the calmness he radiates, is that he has connections everywhere and also has an alternative for everything. We truly enjoyed our vacation because we didn't have to worry about where to go, what to eat, or what time to wake up. He constantly suggested new activities and places that could fit into our schedule. Also, when we found out that the train we had booked was delayed, he made sure to find us tickets for the next available route so that we could arrive before nightfall and enjoy our journey during the day. Everything went smoothly, and Shev was always on time to wait for us with a smile to start our next adventure! Thank you, Shev, for helping us leave Sri Lanka full of new experiences!

shehan at Luxtraveller made our Sri Lanka experience unforgettable. - My friend and I (2 females from New Zealand) recently travelled to Sri Lanka for 2 weeks. Thanks to this page, I found Sheehan from Lux Traveller. He was fantastic. He met us at the airport (close to midnight) and was efficient and professional throughout. His driving was excellent. We felt safe the whole time (the usual driving in Sri Lanka is not at the safety level that we are used to in NZ. Sheehan however was incredibly safe). In advance a price and itinerary were decided on but we made some small changes to the itinerary during the trip which was no problem. I was initially apprehensive but my mind was put at ease. We paid 20% deposit to secure the trip (via Revolut) and the rest at the end. It could not have worked out better.

The best guide - Why we chose Luxtraveller Sri Lanka? I sent an inquiry to 5 companies and from the very beginning we chose Shehan's services, because he modified our sightseeing plan and advised us on the best route at the first contact. We felt taken care of from the very beginning and I was charmed by the professionalism and high personal culture. We travel a lot and are demanding, so we would like to thank Shehan even more for our positive assessment for a wonderful, unforgettable stay in Sri Lanka. We had a great guide and rode in a clean and comfortable van. The sightseeing plan was quickly modified to suit our needs. Shehan knew when we were supposed to arrive on the bridge just so the train was passing by, and when in Ella we got out of the carriage at the last minute because it was so crowded, our guide arranged with the conductor to let us into another carriage with the locals and it was a crazy, unforgettable tour! He fulfilled our wishes, both cheaper and smaller, such as shopping in a liquor store or having dinner in a fancy restaurant :) I recommend it with all my heart!

Highly Recommended! - I spent about two weeks in Sri Lanka and engaged Luxtraveller, and Shehan in particular, to provide driving services for me and book the hotels of my choice. I can’t sing Shehan’s praises enough. He is a calm, measured, trustworthy, respectful driver and is always willing to go the extra mile to make one’s tour frictionless. I travelled solo and I must say this is probably the best trip I’ve ever had and Shehan is hands down the best driver I have worked with. His vehicle was clean; he knew when to engage and was super flexible in adjusting to my style & my interests; and most important of all, his driving was exceptionally safe while efficient. If you want an unforgettable private tour balancing the incredible Sri Lankan temples at Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Kandy; beach time (Galle and nearby towns); the more touristy activities (Sigiriya, tea plantation visit, the Dambulla caves, Madu River cruise); and a quick city tour of Colombo I encourage you to hire Shehan and his company, Luxtraveller!

Great trip with Shehan - We had an amazing tour around Sri Lanka with Shehan as our driver. We stayed there 14 days and he prepared a really nice itinerary. He was super friendly, yet respectful and we had so much fun with him. He easily became our friend. He took everywhere we needed, he really knew the places he recommended, he always knew where and when to take us. Also, he was super flexible. We enjoyed spending time with him, he has so many nice stories. Additionally, he was really careful as a driver and we felt safe driving with him. We recommend Shehan for an awesome vacation in the beautiful Sri Lanka P.S. he’s a really good photographer
