Mt. Takao is located one hour by train from Tokyo. There is a temple called Yakuoin that has supported the mountain worship in Tokyo.

On this tour, you will learn about Japanese mountain worship and experience nature and history while reaching the summit of the mountain.
The tour will be accompanied by a local tour guide.

  • Mt. Takaosan Hiking Course - Our guides will be waiting for you at the station in front of the ticket gate. Climb the mountain with your guide. We will stop there as there are temples and nature to the top of the mountain. We will take a ropeway down the mountain. Lunch will be served near the top of the mountain, or you may choose to have lunch on your own.
