• Mount Erciyes - The Erciyes (Argaeus) Mountain Ski Tour from Cappadocia begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or airport. The journey continues towards Erciyes Mountain, the highest and most renowned volcano in Cappadocia, which last erupted 2,000 years ago. Although it is currently dormant, it remains impressive with its excellent snow quality for skiing. Along the way, observe the transformation of the Silk Road over the past 800 years, now a major highway in Turkey bustling with trucks, buses, and cars instead of camels and horses. The route passes through charming villages and towns, offering a glimpse of local life. Upon reaching the volcano, you will have the opportunity to rent skiing equipment. A ski instructor will guide you through a half-hour lesson, preparing you for an enjoyable time in the snow. You will have approximately three hours to ski and explore other activities.
