Excellent family kayaking experience - We (family of 2 adults and 2 boys (9 and 5 years) had an excellent time with cathedral cove kayaks. Well worth the money and time. Suitable for beginners and kids. Special mention to our guide, Hayden, who did a great job and provided us with interesting facts of the area. He was friendly and genuine… really represented the kiwi spirit! The mochachino and hot chocolates he made on cathedral cove beach were delicious … one of my boys said it was one of the best hot chocolates he had tasted. Highly recommend this experience.

Fun for the Family - Beautiful trip and had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful and the beaches were so pretty. We went at a very busy time of year and was still really enjoyable. Highly recommended for out of town guests. Have done this trip twice and enjoyed both times.

An Unforgettable Kayak Adventure - The tour was expertly organized with professional and friendly kayak instructors leading the way. Before venturing into the sea, everyone underwent comprehensive safety training and proper paddling techniques. The water was breathtakingly beautiful - crystal clear with a mesmerizing jade-green hue. Along the journey, our instructor shared fascinating insights about the Cove's geological formation and local marine life. After roughly 50 minutes of paddling, we arrived at Cathedral Cove, where we took time to marvel at its unique geological formations and unwind on the pristine beach before making our return journey. It was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Highly Recommend - We had a great experience. The marine sanctuary is just beautiful; our guide Georgia, was friendly with a wide variety of facts to share with us. The tour included going into a cave and through a tunnel. Some thoughtful perks: Georgia took pictures of us which were then available for free download. She also made us coffee on the beach!

Sunrise Kayak Tour - It was fabulous!! We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed every second. Our instructor, Nathan, was incredible and was so knowledgeable about Hahei and its history. We had a couple good laughs and he made us all feel at ease despite being a little bit nervous at the start. 10/10 would do it again in a heartbeat! The sunrise kayak was beautiful, and we got so many great pictures too. Thank you to Nathan and the team at Cathedral Cove Kayak Tours, we had a blast!

Number one in my top 3 of New Zealand - Excellent tour with fantastic views, good information and guidance from Dean, our guide. It was a bit hard to keep up with the group. We had never kayaked at see before. It took more effort than expected. But it was such a great experience. 👍
