Amazing experience! - Mú was our amazing guide for our two day tour. She provided a lot of knowledge on the Sa Pa area and helped us not slip down the mountain in the rain. Highly recommend Mú to be your guide for this tour!!

walking trough bamboos - We spent an impressive time in contact with nature. We walked (a lot haha, but such a good thing) with Mu as she explained to us all we were seeing in our way: how the communities live, which plants grow here, etc. We saw bucolic and hidden landscapes and tried to understand the habits :)

Trekking tour - Hi, I went to a guide tour with my friends and Mu was our guide for three days. We all do trekking for different villages and know a lot of different things about Vietnam and his costumes. Mu was a lovely person and she worried about us all the time. I recommendable this tour and this guide 100% if you want to visit and learn about Vietnam.

Moderate Trek through Sapa - This was a great experience but a few stars removed because of the lack of information up front and bad shared limousine experiences. I still recommend this trip for the remote trek and local guide provided. What to expect (quick version): Day 1 morning, shared limousine van from Hanoi to Sapa Hotel luggage check in, lunch provided. Take items for overnight at homestay and day 2 trek Trek ~ 3 hours through remote parts of Sapa and towards homestay village Homestay overnight, dinner and breakfast provided Day 2 trek towards another village through bamboo forest and waterfall. There is more paved road option during day 2 for weary travelers from day 1 Lunch provided at next village, take transportation back to hotel to gather any luggage you left there, then take final shared limousine van back to Hanoi First, this is not an "Easy" trek. You should plan for 3 hours each day of moderate hiking. The guide can change parts of the trek depending on the group but there are some switch back type parts of the trek. Transportation - We were provided a shared limousine van (11 seater) to and from Sapa from Hanoi. Each experienced varied and overall was okay. Our first van ride had additional guests who were constantly on their phones and our second ride back to Hanoi was more tightly packed with luggage in seats and aisle. Itinerary - Some of the details was not included in the original itinerary. When we got to Sapa, we checked our luggage in at a local hotel. They stored our luggage and provided us with our first included lunch from some choices from a set menu. The lunch was good. Then we met with our local guide, Lala, who provided the details for our itinerary. We would trek with her towards our homestay in another village. We had two other groups with us who were doing one day trek and they would get a ride back to the hotel once we reached the village. The trek was amazing and as mentioned, expect a moderate level of exercise while hiking this first part. Other local women joined us to help guide us through the trek but note they will be trying to sell you their local craft items, pretty aggressively towards the end of the trek when you reach the final village. Our trip was in summer so we also had several kids along the way selling items as well. There were several rest stops along the way which was nice, one of them had water, snacks, and other drinks but be mindful these items cost money. You should always ask how much something is before taking it, whether food or souvenirs. Our homestay was nice and we had originally requested 3 separate rooms for our group. The homestay is rustic, we had a fan and mosquito net over our bed in each room. Bathrooms and showers were just outside the rooms. Fortunately it wasn't too hot the night when we were there. The homestay family was very nice and attentive. Dinner and breakfast next day was included in the trip package cost and were very good and once again varied. You pay for any additional drinks or snacks you order from their menu. Day 2 started with rain and some in our group were very tired from the day 1 trek and opted to stay behind and meet the rest at the next destination, a restaurant for lunch. This was a separate fee we paid that the homestay helped us arrange. Day 2 trek included a nice moderate trek through a bamboo forest and waterfall. Our guide asked if we wanted any other local assistance during this trip but also reminded us that they would try and sell items and we opted to ask her to let them know we didnt need any additional assistance or interested in buying anything else. The trek finished at another village where we had lunch (also included in the package) and then a shared van back to the first hotel where we left our luggage. They also provided us with a shower and then we took our final shared limousine ride back to Hanoi. Final thoughts - the trek was great and we got to see the more remote and village side of Sapa. The views were fantastic along the way. Our guide Lala was so nice, spoke very good english, and made our experience very memorable. I would recommend this trip if you want to see beautiful landscapes and have a moderate trek through Sapa.
