Climbing Kilimanjaro with the best local company! - I've recently returned from a successful climb of Kilimanjaro and can highly recommend Nafika Tours as the best local company to complete the climb. Right from my initial emails to them, they were very responsive and made sure I was fully aware of all the things I needed to consider before paying my deposit. They provide a huge amount of information to ensure you're prepared for the adventure, and their website and guidance pages are easy to use. Elias, our travel manager, was there to receive us and checked all our equipment, ensuring we were ready for the trek. His quality of advice and style of engagement were unique. He was patient, knowledgeable, and ensured that we felt reassured about the trip. In Tanzania, their team ensures you've brought everything you need or will make sure the rented gear fits properly. I highly recommend using their rented gear as it is of excellent quality and kept me warm at the summit. The guides and porters from Nafika Tours did a fantastic job of ensuring my team of 12 people stayed well and hydrated throughout the climb. They provided breakfast, a three-course lunch, and dinner, all of which were of good quality and well cooked. Even the popcorn we received at the end of each day was a nice touch. A tea break with biscuits was also a welcome rest on the trek. Our Team Guide, Eli, and his team were superb and made sure every person reached the summit. Everyone had a twice-daily health check, and Diamox (altitude medicine) was supplied by the team. Thanks to Nafika, I always felt in very safe hands. Everyone I met from the company was very helpful and wanted us to make the most of our adventure. It's a company that prides itself on customer service. I will definitely be going back to Nafika Tours, but next time for a safari holiday.

It’s Kilimanjaro hike and safari - A big thank you to Nafika Tours for giving us an amazing experience during our recent trip to Kilimanjaro and Safari. We picked Nafika Tours after looking into lots of options because we heard great things about them locally, and we're really happy we did! We started planning our trip to Tanzania last September, and Elias from Nafika Tours helped us every step of the way. Our hike up Kilimanjaro was incredible! Our guides, Eli and Albert, knew so much about the mountain and Tanzania. They kept us interested and entertained as we hiked the Lemosho route. They made sure we were feeling good by checking our health twice a day and encouraging us to go slowly. This helped us a lot, especially during the midnight hike to the summit. The food was delicious, and the porters worked really hard to make our trip a success. After Kilimanjaro, we went on a three-day safari with Hillary. It was amazing! Hillary made sure we saw lots of animals and stayed in nice lodges. He knew a lot about the animals and answered all our questions patiently. Some important things to note: 1. Everyone on our trip made sure to wash their hands and keep clean. 2. Nafika Tours took good care of our health with regular check-ups, unlike other companies, A hiker with a different company was surprised that we were getting health checks. His team didn’t even check his oxygen level. On summit night, he struggled and barely made it to the top. He hadn’t been eating or sleeping for a few days at that point. 3. The Nafika staff were well-organized, friendly, and flexible. They had good equipment and tasty food. 4. Getting a private toilet tent was a smart choice. It was much better than using drop toilets. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Nafika Tours for your Kilimanjaro hike or safari adventure!

Best Services on Kilimanjaro - The trip was amazing in every way. Before we started hiking, Nafika Tours answered my questions. They were helpful, although I could have found some answers on their website. The airport transfers were clean and on time. The tour manager checked our equipment, which was good quality. They also had a smooth process for storing our extra stuff safely. The guides and porters were great. They always made sure we were safe and comfortable. They worked hard to help us reach the summit safely. They were professional and always had oxygen and altitude tablets if we needed them. We were always informed about what was happening and the food was delicious and plentiful. One tip: rent the portable toilet. I didn't, and I regretted it. The camps were busy and the public toilets could be little far away. Thanks to the crew, my dream came true. I'm grateful to Nafika Tours for their support and excellent service. It was a memorable experience. I would recommend Nafika Tours to anyone looking for an unforgettable trip. Thank you, Nafika! See you next time! 🙌

Highly recommended Nafika Tours! It’s Kilimanjaro climb Lemosho Route! - I have only amazing things to say about the Nafika team and climbing crew. From our first interaction over email to the drop off at the hotel after successfully summiting Kilimanjaro, they were exceptional. The climbing crew, including the guide and summit porter, safely got me to Uhuru Peak and back down. This was my first time trekking above 3000m, and they took great care of me before, during, and after the climb. I highly recommend Nafika for anyone looking to climb Kilimanjaro! The organization was flawless, and they accommodated my date changes without any issues. I want to give a shoutout to Elias, who patiently answered all my emails and questions over 8 months. I joined the small open group 8 days Lemosho Route. We had a private trek with a private toilet tent for our small group. The entire team, from the guide to the chef and porters, was great and very caring. The quality of gear provided for the trek, such as sleeping bags and tents, was top-notch. Listen to the guides during the climb—they want you to summit safely as much as you do. The climbing crew was kind, encouraging, and sincere. I was glad to have a summit porter during summit night, as their thoughtfulness and care were crucial for my success. Food and water quality were excellent, with plenty of fresh fruits, veggies, and carbs. I had no stomach issues, thanks to their attention to detail. The climbing crew surprised me with a cake and sparkling drink after I summited, a lovely gesture. Elias also arranged for me to stop by the ATM/supermarket/post office after my climb, which was very helpful. Overall, the legacy of Nafika Tours lives on in their amazing team. A big thank you to the entire Nafika team for making this bucket list goal come true safely and with so many amazing memories!

Outstanding Kilimanjaro Service on Kili! - Apologies for the delay, but I want to give a huge thank you to the whole team at Nafika Tours. We successfully reached the summit on August 11, 2023, with Nafika Tours in Moshi. As UK travelers, we were initially hesitant about booking directly with a local Tanzanian company. However, after reading positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to trust Nafika Tours. I can honestly say that out of all my travels and experiences, climbing Kilimanjaro with this company was the most amazing. Elias quickly provided us with proposal and itinerary options, showing excellent English skills and flexibility when we had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. He also helped arrange day trips, hotels, and safaris. Upon our arrival, the driver promptly picked us up from the airport. Our guides, Justin and Michael, met us at the hotel to ensure we had everything we needed. They were friendly, fluent in English, and highly knowledgeable about the mountain, providing us with valuable briefings. Each day brought new surprises that made our trip special. The attention to detail was exceptional, from popcorn and biscuits upon arrival at camp to personalized gifts celebrating our summit. The food was incredible, with well-prepared meals and snacks provided daily. Every member of our team, including our guides, was incredible. Justin was supportive and caring, providing medication and encouragement when needed. Michael ensured we trekked at a suitable pace for acclimatization, offering assistance with everything from carrying our bags to sharing knowledge about the surroundings. I highly recommend Nafika Tours for anyone planning a Kilimanjaro trek or safari. The payment partial method was easy and simple, we were able to securely transfer the deposit and settle the balance upon arrival. The boss, Elias, started as a Kilimanjaro porter and worked his way up to become a guide and director of Nafika Tours. He leads a fantastic team and treats them well, reflecting the company's excellent ethics.

Nafika Tours _ simply the best local company - Wow! Where can I start to talking about my amazing experience climbing Kilimanjaro with this company! I did the eight-day Lemosho route, and it was absolutely incredible. They arranged round-trip transportation for me from the airport to Moshi and back, and Elias, the owner of the company, was there to greet me at my hotel when I arrived. There are so many things that set this local company apart from others. Nafika Tours is owned by people who used to work as porters and guides on Kilimanjaro themselves. With their firsthand experiences, they ensure fair labor conditions for all porters and guides, and they pay everyone fair wages. The mattresses and tents they provide are top-notch in quality and cleanliness. Plus, if you forget any hiking equipment, they always have extras available at their offices. The food they cook is fresh and high-quality—during longer treks, a second team of porters meets the cooks to replenish fresh food stocks, keeping hikers well-fed throughout the journey. The porters are all incredibly kind and friendly, and they enjoy chatting with the clients. The guides are incredibly well-trained and experienced, and they're amazing at understanding the needs of their clients throughout the entire journey. What can I say about my guide? Only positive things. He was very professional, conducting twice-daily health and wellbeing checks and knowing exactly when to check on my wellbeing and remind me to drink water. He was very supportive, and he were great at assessing my capabilities and setting a suitable pace. On summit day, he set exactly the right pace to get me up and down safely. As a 37-year-old woman traveling alone in Africa for the first time, safety was my top concern when choosing a company. The entire Nafika Tours team was aware of this and made sure I felt safe and secure at all times. I want to extend my gratitude to Elias, my guide William, and the entire Nafika team for making my Kilimanjaro summit an unforgettable trip!

Kilimanjaro with the Best Team! - I climbed Kilimanjaro this year with Nafika Tours, and I'm really happy with my choice. Working in a pharmaceutical company, I'm used to evaluating companies, especially when it comes to safety. Elias, who helped with the booking, was very patient and helpful from the start. He provided me with detailed information about the hike, including training tips, packing lists, visa applications, and food suggestions, which was really useful. The airport transfer and stay at Brubru lodge went smoothly. The hotel had a nice garden and swimming pool, and it was close to Moshi town. Elias even invited me to visit a school supported by Nafika Tours, where I got to interact with the kids and contribute to supporting them by providing school materials. My head guide, Daniel, was great. He prioritized safety and ensured we had a slow pace throughout the trek, which helped me feel well-prepared for summit day. Nafika Tours also provided additional safety measures like an inflatable altitude chamber and oxygen cylinders, oxmiter ( Daily medical checkup) making the trek more comfortable. The quality of a Kilimanjaro climb supplier goes beyond just smiling faces. Nafika Tours showed expertise in emergency procedures, proper pacing, kitchen hygiene, and medical checks, which was reassuring. I didn't experience altitude sickness, thanks to exercising beforehand, staying hydrated and well-fed during the trek, and the slow pacing set by Daniel. The team was friendly and knowledgeable, making sure I had a pleasant experience throughout the climb. Nafika Tours seems like a great place to work, as evidenced by the interest from porters of other companies wanting to join the team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nafika Tours to anyone interested in climbing Kilimanjaro.

Kilimanjaro climbing and safari with the best Team! - Choosing Nafika Tours for my Kilimanjaro trek was a fantastic decision. I opted for the 8-day Lemosho trail and a 2-day safari, and it turned out to be an excellent experience. The trek, guided by William, was exceptional. William, a great guide, prioritized customer comfort and safety throughout. Even though my trekking partner and I had different paces, William ensured both of us were cared for and safe. The chef, Jonathan, did an excellent job attending to our dietary needs and providing great company during the trek. The porters were courteous and attentive, enhancing the overall trek experience. William and his crew played a crucial role in making the journey enjoyable. After the trek, meeting Hilary, who drove us to the safari, added to the adventure. Hilary, with a friendly and smiley face, ensured our wishes were met, making each day full of excitement. Nafika Tours has truly built an exceptional team, and I highly recommend them to anyone dreaming of climbing Kilimanjaro. This adventure will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you for everything! Great Team and Best Guides - We went to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro and go on a Safari. It was really important to find the right company for our special needs. As the one planning everything, I had a tough job choosing a tour company from many options. After lots of checking, we went with Nafika Tours, and it was the best choice. Elias and the Nafika Tours team were super helpful and patient. They answered all my questions without rushing me. Some other companies pushed us to book right away, but Nafika Tours let us take our time. Climbing up and down Kilimanjaro changed our lives. We're both retired from being in law enforcement for 33 years. Kilimanjaro was the hardest thing we've ever done, and the Nafika Tours team made sure our whole group made it to the top. We chose the Lemosho Route for acclimatization, and Nafika Tours gave me references to talk to before we booked. This made us feel sure we'd be taken care of during the trip. We started at the Panama Garden Resort in Moshi, and the team made sure we were safe and comfy. Our guide, Daniel, told us about the journey, checked our gear, and the next morning, we began our adventure. The first day was great, meeting the team and seeing Tanzania. Around day 3 or 4, things got tough, but the team's support, kind words, special food, and care helped us through. Summit day was hard, but with Daniel and Evord guiding us, we made it to the top. Nafika Tours took really good care of us, especially Daniel and Evord, who were awesome guides. They sang, supported us, and became like family. Their kindness, sharing their culture, and care were amazing. After the trip, they made sure we got home safely, showing top-notch customer service. If I could, I'd give them 1,000 stars. The food was fantastic, and we felt really well-cared for. We're planning to go back to Tanzania, and for sure, we'll choose Nafika Tours again!

The best local company for your Kilimanjaro hiking! - I just got back from climbing Kilimanjaro with my family on the Lemosho route. It was extra special sharing this adventure with loved ones. The support team from Nafika Tours, led by Willium, was amazing. Without them, reaching the summit would have been hard. I had challenges like trouble sleeping early on, affecting my energy. But I’m very happy I mad up to top of Kilimanjaro. The team's care, consideration, and friendship were really nice. This should reassure others thinking about Nafika Tours. They checked our health, including medical stuff and oxygen levels, morning and evening. The camping gear – tents, dining tent, sleeping bags, tables, and chairs – was great. The support team did everything for us. Even with my daughter's birthday just before summiting, Jonathan, the cook, made an iced cake. Altitude affected our hunger, but Jonathan made nutritious food. It's tough to express how much we admire our support team. We connected with them, tried some Swahili, and danced together. Our guides – Willium, Evord, and Tony were an awesome team. Their photo is proudly displayed at home. While achieving my 40-year dream of climbing Kilimanjaro is big, the bond with the support team is even more special. For groups thinking about this adventure, get ready for a unique emotional and physical journey.
