Warm vibes in cold Januaryr - I feel so lucky that - as I arrived to Beijing in off season - I was the only participant in today’s tour. Shannon, my guide gave me a vip tour, detailed information on sights and answered all my questions. We didn’t have to be in hurry, anytime I was interrested in a specific location, we could stay there longer. Super satisfied, it’s so much better to visit sights with the help of a local guide, I recommend it to all. Cheers! :)

Wonderful Time at Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace! - John was excellent and the trip was well organized. We had a wonderful time touring with him. Based on his recommendations, we were able to take many memorable pictures, especially the beautiful sunset inside Summer Palace!

Great experience and memorable tour - Great tour, we went to Lama temple and also visited a nearby hutong after. We went with John as our guide and he was a great guide, very friendly and easygoing. Informative and helpful as well.

Great experience! - Amazing experience visiting and learning about temple of heaven and summer palace with Jimmy. I learned a lot and it was an enjoyable experience! I would definitely recommend this tour and of course I hope you can do that with him! He was a great guide!

My visit to the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace - I highly recommend this excursion. Stunning culture and history excellently narrated by our guide Jimmy. Plus it's super relaxed and you don't feel rushed or stressed.

Interesting Tour of Two Beautiful Monuments - Very informative tour of the Temple of Heaven & the Summer Palace. Our tour guide John got in contact in advance. The meeting place was clear and easy to find. Had a delicious Chinese meal at the lunch stop. John told us lots of interesting facts about the temple & the palace; was very kind and attentive to our son - answering all his questions; and also gave us some enriching insights into everyday modern Chinese life. Bravo John!

Memorable day in Beijing - Jimmy was an extraordinary guide. I love Chinese history so I was full of questions. He answered everything very patiently and showed how much knowledge he has in the topic. He gave us some free time for lunch so I made friends with other young people from the tour, and after it was over we went out for dinner and drinks together.

Great experience - We had an amazing tour at the temple of heaven and the summer palace in Beijing. the atmosphere, the people, the places, many emotions all at once. And on top of everything we loved going on an-hour trip on the boat at the lake of the summer palace. Super!!!

Beautiful scenery - It was a nice view and the guide Ellie took effort to wait for us despite us being stuck in traffic. She also took effort to ensure we are able to take the subway back to our hotel safely. Overall beautiful scenery.

Tour much shorter than stated - In my opinion, the description of the tour on Tripadvisor is misleading. We started at the Temple of Heaven, where it was stated we would spend three hours, but we left after just 1 hour and 40 minutes. After that, we took a bus to the Summer Palace, only to have a 2-hour and 20-minute lunch break. When we finally toured the Summer Palace, it lasted only 1 hour and 30 minutes instead of the promised 2 hours and 30 minutes. The tour guide was friendly and helpful, but I can’t recommend this tour.
