- Welcome to Alaska Sign - This amazing photostop is at the summit of the White Pass and Klondike Highway
- Skagway Alaska Downtown - We’ll take you by some of Skagway’s famous locations along Broadway and historical points in town
- Pitchfork Falls - Pitchfork Falls is a 2,000-foot cascade into the Skagway River, viewable from the Klondike Highway between Skagway, Alaska and the border with British Columbia. The falls goes underneath a railroad bridge of the White Pass and Yukon Railway
- Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park Visitor Center - We stop by various buildings and scenic points of the Klondike Gold Rush, including the White Pass and points along the Klondike Highway as we go to Canada (British Columbia and The Yukon)
- Tutshi Sleddog Tours - This is the main part of our tour! Here,, you’ll get to play with future Iditarod & Yukon Quest champions - and even possibly meet musher Michelle Phillips or Ed Hopkins ! While at their camp, you’ll get to play and pet with the dogs and have time with her handlers & trainers & learn about the races. The dog sled camp is also home to a small gift shop & restrooms.

The expedition will progress further up the Klondike Highway to a distant sled dog camp in the Canadian wilderness. Here, you can enjoy interacting with sled dog puppies and chatting with their trainers and handlers. Rest assured, we won’t rush or limit your time here!

Exceeded expectations - Noah was an amazing guide for our family of four and the trip exceeded expectations. The scenery on the way was breathtaking and the dog sled ride was very memorable.

Fantastic, highly recommend! - We upgraded for the ride and it was incredible! I loved each and every one of the puppies! They had a variety of puppies from 5 weeks to 25 weeks and they were all the sweetest most well behaved puppies I’ve ever met. They were all individually fantastic! I also loved the informational talk one of the trainers gave us about what each piece of equipment does, I found it very informative!

Fantastic trip - Fantastic tour, our guide Merica was very knowledgeable. We had lots of time with the cute puppies and learnt lots from the mushers.

Beautiful scenery and cute puppies. - The scenery was incredible. Adam (a/k/a Atom) is an excellent tour guide. His narration was informative and entertaining. There were photo opportunities at the Alaska sign, the Yukon sign, and Lake Tutshi. (Apparently, the lake's name is pronounced "too-shy".) Adam volunteered to take photos of any guest who wanted them.
The puppies were the highlight of the excursion. They're cute beyond description.

So much more than puppies - This tour is so much more than just being with the puppies. Noah our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable witty and funny. The views on the trip are stunning. Noah went out of his way to make sure we had plenty of stops to take photos. All in all could not fault this tour. Plenty of time with the puppies, great scenery, and a great guide in Noah. Highly recommended.

Insight into the beauty of Alaska - Our driver Adam made the tour enjoyable by pointing out the uniqueness of the beauty around us and giving us a history as well of many of the sites. He shared stories of his own love of the area and answered all of our questions. He made the whole tour fun even in some very cloudy weather at the top of the glaciers on the way back to the town of Skagway.
Our only improvement would be to have a guide to tell us more about the pups we saw at the summit. That part was not well organized.

Awesome tour - It was a lot of fun and we got to see the sled dog puppies and had a great bbq lunch. Epaul did a wonderful job giving the tour!

Avoid! Not a good tour! - This is a very long and uncomfortable bus ride WAY into Canada.
My wife just wanted to pet some husky puppies. We did not want to ride a sled nor do anything major, such as bus tour the entire Yukon.
So, we selected a tour called "Yukon Husky Puppies Play Time".
Big mistake!
This is what the Tour should have been called:
"Two hours on a very uncomfortable bus with no air conditioning. Then, 30 minutes with the grown up dogs, no puppies! Then, two hours on a very uncomfortable bus with no air conditioning".
OMG 😳 we wish we had stayed in Skagway and found a local person with a husky pup that we could pet for five bucks!
If you do go this route , you must bring your own water, bring bug spray, bring a hat and sunglasses and a neck fan, and some chewing gum for the altitude ear adjustment. I have never felt altitude sickness on any of my travels but I felt weird the entire time at the mushers camp.
My wife loved the dogs but the overall travel discomfort felt unduly burdensome for amount of money and time investment.
Should have gone to the Gold Rush Museum in Skagway and wandered around town and had lunch. We have already ridden the White Pass Train twice. If you haven't, do that instead of this.

Minimal Puppy “play time” - This tour was definitely a let down when it comes to delivering on the puppy playtime. There was a litter of four puppies and you had to wait in line to hold one for about two minutes total and that was it. There were a few other dogs sleeping around a dirt area. We also didn’t realize our tour was combined with others that were sledding, which meant we sat in the dirt dog area for over an hour while they did their expedition, with the puppy area not even available for much of this time. To describe this was one that doesn’t limit your time with the puppies like other tour companies was very inaccurate.
Our tour guide talked a lot for the entire bus ride, some very interesting info and then some other info like how many jobs he’s been fired from and plenty of stories about marijuana.
I also didn’t realize the length of the tour and that only chips and candy bars would be available. For a tour that went from 11-3:45, that is not enough food. Overall we were very unhappy with this experience, especially for our kids who were expecting puppies versus a bunch of sleeping older dogs. I would not recommend this tour unless you’re doing the sled dog part.
