Dinner will be served with a lot of traditional Vietnamese dishes. You will have dinner with the fisherman and experience the taste of culture.
After dinner, you rest for a while, then follow the guide to kayak at night, experiencing one of the most magical beauty of nature. The guide will take you to spots where have a thick density of plankton
On the kayak, every time you paddle, you will see it sparkle along, lighting up the magical blue light. It will probably be the most magical moment you’ve seen in your life.
20:30 - 20:45: Back to the floating house, get on the boat to get back to Beo Harbour
21:00 - 21:15: Arrive by the harbour, get in a car to get back to the hotel. Finish the tour

Magical moments in Ha Long Bay - the trip exceeded my expectations. beautiful views in the bay at sunset, an hour of swimming with jumping from the boat, a very good dinner with local, Vietnamese delicacies, and all this topped off with an hour of kayaking in search of glowing plankton - it was really exciting and beautiful. a great Viet guide reigned over everything. I definitely recommend it.

Magical Glowing Plankton Tour -
The Cat Ba Local Glowing Plankton Tour was absolutely incredible! Kayaking through the glowing waters at night felt like moving through a galaxy of stars. Luffy, our guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable and attentive, making sure everyone had an amazing time. This one-of-a-kind experience is a must-do when visiting Cat Ba. Highly recommend!

Magical - This tour is incredible and really special. The glowing "plankton" (not really plankton, they're single-celled organisms) were beautiful to view at night. They sparkle in the water, just magical. Our night coincided with a lightning storm that really added a show on the way back. Our brilliant guide, Luffy, was a fount of knowledge about the local area, the people living in the fishing villages, and the local wildlife. An amazing evening and a highlight of my travels through Vietnam.

Amazing experience in Ha Long Bay! - We were initially doubtful of how the tour would turn out. In the end, we were blown away! If you are thinking of booking this tour, please do yourself a favor and do it!
Luffy, our tour guide was outstanding. As a Cat Ba local, he gave us so much information on the history of the area and the wildlife.
If you are doing a Ha Long Bay day tour, this one is a nice respite from the heat. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous, we even got to ride a banana boat to check it out closer! Great dinner, beers/water/sodas offered.
After dinner, we embarked on our kayaking journey in the darkness. Safety measures and organization were all there. After a short kayak ride, the plankton blew our mind! Luffy will give you time to swim if you’d like. After the plankton, he took us to a fisherman’s house boat and explained the daily life of these hardworking men.
Can’t recommend enough!

Unforgettable - Very nice tour guide who explained everything and came from the region. He spoke very good English which made it easy to understand him. The glowing plankton had something magical... almost like in Avatar. Unforgettable experience

Magic glitter - Just the night kayaking trip between the karst rocks under the starry sky and without further lighting is worth experiencing. However, it is magical to experience the plankton glow, with your hands in the water or even swimming. Unforgettable.
Our tour guide Ryan was super friendly and prudent, knew his way around the water and showed us several great spots to watch the plankton. You could also learn a lot about his country and people.
The whole tour was well organized, with pick up at the property, nice spacious wooden ship, delicious dinner on board after a boisterous swim stop before sunset.
Highly recommended. An unforgettable experience.

Amazing in every way - My favourite thing we have done in Vietnam so far! Our guide was so lovely, fun, knowledgeable and took the best care of us. The plankton was incredible was able to see it after a short amount of time kayaking. Would 100% recommend everything about this. And bring your bathers to swim!

Simply the best - Our group of 10- 2 families and a couple loved every part of this tour. Having done the day tour in the Bay, this experience added even more to our special time getting to know the Cat B side of Ha long bay. Our guide Luffy was simply the best. From his to the minute precision on the itinerary, to the freedom we felt on the tour. His knowledge and stories left us wanting to spend more time getting to know the bay, the research that happens there and the people that work and live there. The boat, the food, the destinations left us all with the most special of memories from our time in Vietnam. The bar was set so high early on in our trip for day trips we were worried for the rest of Vietnam. Vietnam has continued to no doubt impress us all but this tour remains well at the top.
