Dessert Safari - It's very impressive. We started by car through the desert. This got very wild. Finally we arrived at the camp. Here we rode a camel and went sandboarding. The sunset was really beautiful.

Dessert Safari with lots of fun and excitement - We had a really awesome time!! Ali was amazing to organize everything and to take care of us . Gentle Quad bike ride , Sand Dune bash with SUV , camel ride , Dune boarding , Dinner with Program and Shisha. Amazing day . Could have not been better !!

Friendly desert experience. - Nice experience. 15 minutes of quad and 10 minutes of 4x4 in the fun dunes. Organization not too great, we don't receive a lot of information. And watch out for extras, there are plenty of them, check carefully what is included. Remember that you can negotiate all prices for extras.

Do Not Go If You Are A Solo Female Traveler - As a solo female traveler, I expected my private tour with Safari Desert to be safe, professional, and respectful. Unfortunately, my experience was far from it and I urge other women traveling alone to consider alternative options. From the moment the tour began, the tone was unsettling. I was immediately bombarded with inappropriate questions like "Where's your boyfriend or husband?" and "Where do you work?" in 2024, it's disheartening to be reminded that some still expect women to fit outdated societal norms or think that our personal details are open for unsolicited scrutiny.
 The situation escalated alarmingly when, after a performance in the middle of the desert, two men unexpectedly joined the tour while we were en route back to my hotel late at night. I asked the guide (I believe his name is Ali), why are these men entering the car when I booked a private tour? The response: “their car broke down”. If anyone watches true crime shows, you know “my car broke down” is the number one tactic to lure victims in. He put me in such a vulnerable situation as a woman in the middle of the desert with men I did not approve of getting in the car especially when I paid for a private tour! I felt so unsafe I had to share my location with my family back in the states in case anything happened to me. I was so upset. This breach not only compromised the privacy of my tour but also placed me in a potentially perilous situation—something no one should ever face. To add insult to injury, my guide had the audacity to ask for my phone to write a review of the tour under my profile. This is not only unprofessional but also an unethical breach of trust and privacy.
 This experience was not just disappointing; it felt like a violation of the trust and safety that are fundamental to services aimed at solo travelers, particularly women. I strongly advise against booking with Safari Desert if you are traveling alone and seeking a secure and respectful travel environment.

Underwhelming and Disorganized Desert Safari Experience 👎 - I was excited for our desert safari in Abu Dhabi, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. We booked the safari based on glowing reviews, but our experience was fraught with disorganization and subpar service. Firstly, the pickup was 30 minutes late without any communication from the company. Once we finally started, our guide seemed rushed and largely uninterested in providing insights about the desert or our itinerary. The vehicle was uncomfortably cramped and poorly air-conditioned, which made our travel through the desert not only unpleasant but nearly unbearable given the heat. Safety was another concern as the seat belts were not functioning properly, which was distressing during the dune bashing. Upon reaching the camp, we found the facilities to be less than satisfactory. The promised traditional meals were underwhelming, and the options were limited for vegetarians. Moreover, the entertainment felt unauthentic and hurried. To make matters worse, when we raised our concerns with the staff, they seemed indifferent and unresponsive to our feedback. Overall, I cannot recommend this desert safari company. If you're planning a safari in Abu Dhabi, I'd suggest looking elsewhere to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience.

To begin, the pickup was over an hour late, with no communication from the company to explain the delay. When the vehicle finally arrived, it was noticeably old and lacked proper air conditioning, which made our journey through the desert extremely uncomfortable given the heat. The itinerary promised a range of activities, but several were cut short or skipped altogether. The camel ride, which was supposed to be a highlight, lasted barely five minutes. Additionally, the guide seemed rushed and uninterested in providing any insightful information about the desert and its ecosystem. The evening entertainment and dinner, which I was looking forward to, also fell short of expectations. The food was bland and options were limited, particularly for those with dietary restrictions. Moreover, the performance area was overcrowded and poorly organized, making it difficult to enjoy the shows. Safety was another concern. During the dune bashing, our driver was driving recklessly, which made everyone in the vehicle feel uneasy. It was not the thrilling experience advertised but a rather nerve-wracking ordeal. In conclusion, this desert safari was not worth the money spent. It lacked organization, proper execution, and the quality promised was nowhere to be seen. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves their services for future customers.
