Nice afternoon - It was nice to get out on the water and to see Halifax that way. We saw proposes and seals and had a little wind for sailing

Fantastic sail - Outstanding boat, outstanding crew, and an outstanding afternoon sail! We did this as a Royal Caribbean Shore Excursion. I was particularly drawn to this excursion because the two main boats only take 12 guests at a time. It is a very nice boat for just 12 people. The cockpit might have felt a little crowded with 12, but five of us went out on the foredeck for the whole sail. Important thing to note - *after* you exit the cruise terminal, it is a flat 15 minute walk to the dock. We were led by a RC guide to the exit of the cruise terminal, and then a JFarwell employee met us and walked us to the dock. This is important to note because two people who were part of the group did not realize how far a walk it was and had to give up and turn back. For a 12 noon tour, our group arrived closer to 12:05, and we were underway by 12:15. We motored the first 10-15 minutes and then the sails went up. We had great sailing for about 45 minutes, then we turned to head back, arriving back at the dock at around 1:45. It is not a particularly picturesque sail because you barely get past the container docks when you start just going back and forth across the bay. But if you just want the opportunity to get out on the water on a really nicely maintained sailing yacht, it totally checks the box. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

A serene sailing experience!! - This particular tour was one hour and a half...too, too short as all things GREAT are. Skipper Ryan and First Mate Finn provided the "potential" crew with an awesome sailing experience. LOVED being given the opportunity to steer the sailing yacht and work the sails. A new appreciation of what sailing can offer to the soul. I am definitely going to book another one of their tours. Thank you so much, Ryan and Finn!!

Two and a half stars. - The crew was good, so the rating is a bit higher than I would otherwise give. Maybe 2.5 would be more accurate. The trip was a "nothing burger." Out and back, little else. No refreshments included. Not even water. There were 4 couples and one former sailor who enjoyed monopolizing conversations with the crew about his sailing experiences, using technical language that some of us didn't understand. We learned little. Wouldn't do this one again.
