Great tour with Will - Our tour was fantastic mainly because of our guide William Flood. He was so knowledgeable and friendly… we really enjoyed his easy manner. The food was very good too… a lot of it👍❤️

A wonderful overview of the harbor and the food Halifax has to offer. - My guide Jack was great. it’s a fun way to see the harbor, learn a little history, and sample great food. The walking is fairly easy and you get a real sense of the history of the old area of town. Lots of historic buildings.

Great day in Halifax! - What a delightful day! Our tour started on a beautiful sunny day with our guide, William. What a nice young man with so much local knowledge. It was just me and my husband on the tour so we really had a lot of time to chat. 1st stop chowder - delicious! 2nd stop - oysters! You selected 3 oysters, all the same or different ones. I'm not a huge oyster fan so my husband chose 3 each of two varieties. I tried one of each and really liked the ones from PEI. 3rd stop - donairs. I'd never had one but really enjoyed the spiced sliced meat on a pita bread with the sweet donair sauce. The sandwich was HUGE, and I couldn't finish all of it. 4th stop - lobster rolls. Choice of warm with drawn butter, cold with mayo and celery or 1/2 and 1/2. We chose one hot and one cold. Again, a lot of food and we wrapped up half of each to bring home (along with the pickles and chips) 5th stop - ice cream! It was a great, fun little shop, but honestly after all the food we ate we couldn't eat more than a few bites of the ice cream. This was a lot of food for what we paid and I highly recommend this tour if you're in Halifax. And if you get William as your guide, that's an added bonus. He was terrific!

A must do Walking and Tasting Tour - Great knowledgeable guide who also provided good historical context, not only about the food we tasted but also about the history of Halifax.

Best on an empty stomach!! - OK, don’t show up for this tour unless you’re hungry. Each of our stops consisted of a full portion of each item and not a sample as we expected. My wife and I took this tour today on a beautiful afternoon and we were the only participants ( it is pricey). Our tour guide (Will Flood) was knowledgeable about the city and the food to be enjoyed. He easily shared his knowledge of the history of the area as well as the entertainment options in the city. On our tour we experienced: seafood chowder; oysters; donare (it’s a Halifax thing); lobster rolls and finished up with amazing soft serve ice creme creations served with cotton candy. The tour lasted about 2 hours and included a bit of walking; including climbing several blocks up hill from the harbor. After this tour I guess I’m skipping dinner 😎!!

Perfect combo of food, views, and fun! - We had an amazing time with Andrew as our guide. He was fun, easy to be with, and very knowledgeable. Every stop we made was incredible. Some of the best chowder ever! We loved the twist on the lobster roll at Sea Smoke so much that we went back the next day to try other things. We’ve done a lot of food tours and never left as full as we did on this one! Well worth the money! We really appreciated Andrew’s time and attention; we asked a lot of questions about Nova Scotia and Canada and he taught us so much!

Delayed start - Our guide Jack was very good. However the startup of the trip was rocky with the start time of the tour being delayed by an hour without notice to us. We waited for an hour and found out there was a delay after calling the tour co. Not very acceptable way to treat clients by the back office.

Disappointed in the Food - Andrew was an excellent tour guide. He was funny, knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about Halifax very much. He had great stories to tell which were amusing and interesting. The food was disappointing. We have used aviator many times and this was the first one we’ve been on that didn’t give high quality products. The chowder was very mediocre and we felt the lobster in the lobster roll was frozen lobster. We thought Viator would want to showcase NS seafood in a memorable way but that was not our experience.

The tour was cancelled with less than three hours before tour - The excursion was canceled on us less than three hours before it was to take place. We had to scramble to find other things to take up the void in our schedule. Very inconvenient.
