Nice tour, GREAT Guide!!! - The best part of this tour was our Guide, Nilah!!! She told amazing stories of growing up in Nova Scotia, and was able to make everything relatable while interweaving a lot of history. She did a great job of making sure that we understood what to expect and as well as provided plenty of great photo ops - she was even able to include some quick stops for even more pics when able and still stay on schedule. Lunenburg is really beautiful and well worth the 1 1/2 hr drive. The hills were a little much for us to see the church and the other sites at the "top," so we chose to stay in the main section of the village, wander around, and eat samplings at multiple restaurants! The included lobster roll was great, but (slightly) overshadowed by the amazing variety of local oysters offered at the Half Shell. I wish we had done a little more research to understand some of the other things to do (like whale watching excursion) as the 4 hrs there would have allowed another "mini-tour." We also had the opportunity for a quick stop in Mahone Bay as we were a little ahead of schedule, where the scarecrow festival was in full swing and just a really fun experience!

Great day - Our guide was Thor. He was fantastic. He gave us more than expected with his knowledge of the area. The lobster roll was the best I’ve had in the week I spent in the area. No complains. It was a perfect day

Charming town and great lobster rolls - A lovely tour to Lunenburg. Our guide Nilan was great, very informative and had nerves of steel, kept calm, since a road closure made us turn back from the main highway, lots of trafic jams but she got us to Lunenburg on time for us to enjoy many hours of touring. We were lucky the Blue Nose was in and we could visit it and the Fisheries Museum and enjoy a fantastic lobster roll at Salt. A day to remember and we recommend this tour to every one and if you are lucky you will get Nilan our guide.

Great value for seeing wonderful towns - Great day trip. Well worth the price. Your guide is very knowledgeable about the areas that are visited. Would have liked a little more time in each area.

Great day excursion - Our guide Nylah was fantastic. She was professional and knowledgeable pointing out a variety of points of interest in Lunenberg. We had the best lobster roll at The Salt Shaker. The staff there were very friendly and accommodating. On our way back to the hotel, Nylah took a slightly longer more scenic route stopping in some quaint little towns for a photo opp. She even stopped at a beautiful beach allowing us to take some time to dip our toes in the Atlantic. Thank you Nylah!

Excellent itinerary and very good guide - Thor was an excellent guide. Chatty, knowlegeable and engaging. Would recommend this guide. A bit late picking us up - we didn't realise that this was not a private tour so he had a couple of pickups to do before he got to our hotel. Not a big problem - just unexpected. Good journey with plenty of stops and interest. We had the lobster roll. It was very good. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't expecting us (6 of us) and so 4 of our party left to find food elsewhere. Slight problem re paying the bill - I had expected Thor to come to the restaurant after parking the car but we had to phone him. Plenty of time to explore Lunenburg. Walked up to the academy, visited the museum and Blue Nose 2. It was VERY hot that day. Treated ourselves to an icecream! I would have given 5 stars except for the mess up at the restaurant.

Not worth the money - There were no memorable parts of this tour. I was disappointed as we were dropped off at the Harbour and were told that we were on our own for 4 hours. Being a very hilly town it was hard to get around. The Lobster Roll was horrible. The bread was either stale or very old as I didn't eat it. I just ate the Lobster. Very disappointed.

Could have done without - Feel for the guy that did the tour, but he was late because the person who was supposed to take us, called in sick 30mins prior. Replacement admitted he didn't do this tour and so didn't really know a lot. Not worth paying the extra for a lobster lunch. It's a lobster roll at salt shaker, but you can go there by yourself. Instead we had an awkward lunch with the group we were touring with. Also, not many stores were open (we went a Sunday in May), so the 2 and a half hour free time was way too long
