- Sir Sandford Fleming Park (The Dingle) - This is a beautiful 95-acre park. Its memorial tower was built in 1908 to commemorate 150 years of democracy. It also has beautiful trails along the ocean.
- Halifax Public Gardens - Guests can take a leisurely stroll through this downtown garden. It is a picturesque Victorian garden that is 154 years in the making.
- Fairview Lawn Cemetery - Guests can visit the final resting place of over 120 victims of the 1912 Titanic disaster. Among the victims was the unknown child, who through DNA testing has now been identified.
- Peggy’s Cove - Granite rocks are white-washed into the ocean, left from the Ice Age 10,000 years ago. Artists love to paint here because of the strong contrasts among the ocean, rocks and lighthouse.

Private Tour - such a wonderful time with excellent driver. Drove us through beautiful neighborhoods, colleges, downtown. Took us to Peggys Cove which we enjoyed the views. A very very relaxing tour without the need of a large cruise group which tends to rush you through. He even bought me mocha coffee. I strongly recommended him . Thank you so much for being so patient with us.

Halifax with History - There is so much history to learn about Halifax. Our guide Stuart was so knowledgeable that I felt that we really learned a great deal about not only Halifax but the surrounding areas.

Great tour of Halifax! - Stewart was prompt and knowledgeable. He picked us up at the cruise port and provided us with facts and history about Halifax throughout our drive. He was also able to customize the day based off our requests. He strategically managed to get us to Peggy’s Cove in between tour busses which made for a very enjoyable time there including an almost empty restaurant! Thank you Stewart!

What a great day! - Stewart contacted me a few days before the tour. He had done his homework by finding out the exact pier we’d be disembarking from and told me specifically where he’d meet us. We have no doubt we saw more, and were more comfortable than if we had taken a bus tour. Stewart took us through interesting neighborhoods, let us walk through a beautiful public garden, a memorial to the Titanic, and to Peggy’s Cove, where we had lunch. He also knew all the bathroom stops. I really appreciate that he was willing to stop at a pharmacy for me! I never could have done that with a busked of people! Stewart also told us stories about Halifax and Peggy’s Cove and played local music to our enjoyment.

Sightseeing Journey - We had a wonderful day! Stewart was waiting for us just steps from the ship and we began our 6 hour sightseeing journey filled with information and beautiful picture moments. This was so much better than doing a group tour!

Skip the shore excursion and do this private tour instead! - The entire tour was so well planned and organized. Stewart’s extensive knowledge of, and love for, his region - along with the incredible scenery - made this one of the most memorable highlights of our entire trip. A private tour planned with our specific interests in mind was a much better choice than being herded along with a busload of people on the cruise ship’s shore excursion. And Stewart managed to plan our arrival at Peggy’s Cove between the bus tours, so it was far less crowded and we were able to get some amazing photos (and great lobster rolls!) with far fewer people around!

Best bang for the money! - We had a wonderful and relaxed day with Stewart. He was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to explore the Public Gardens, and best of all, Peggy's Cove. Highly recommend this private tour!
