As you travel, your guide will give you informative details about the park’s geography and its inhabitants. Keep an eye out for leopards typically sighted near the lakes, sloth bears, elephants, deer, jackals, wild pigs, and water buffalo. Don’t forget to have your camera ready for these encounters!
Also be on the lookout for wetland birds such as Storks, spoonbills, and egrets, and migratory species that appear from November through March. You might also encounter reptiles like mugger crocodiles, monitor lizards, snakes, and the rare Indian star tortoise. Other species include pond and soft-shelled turtles, and various kinds of butterflies such as the Blue Mormon and Crimson Rose.
Your wildlife adventure comes to an end when you disembark your 4x4 at the park entrance.
