Great Yala Experience - Great full day tour of Yala, unfortunately no sighting of leopard but lots of other animals to see!! Our guide was waiting for us as agreed in a private car at the meeting point at the cruise terminal to whisk us off to meeting point for the off road Jeep. Arrived back in plenty of time before the ship was due to leave with no concerns. A great trip from start to finish which I’d recommend using this tour company for.

perfect excursion for a day in the port of Hambantota - Super organized excursion, pickup, transportation and safari were very good. The price includes a delicious lunch buffet overlooking the sea. A very successful day. We highly recommend the tour.

Superb experience - The driver met us at the gate as communicated. They took us by car to the park, where we transferred to the off-road vehicle. Other companies take you all the way from the port and back in the semi open off road vehicles. The car was a far more comfortable experience. The park visit was amazing. We had the vehicle to ourselves along with a guide. The guide was very knowledgeable and helped point out animals and gave explanations. He was in contact with with guides to make sure we had the best chance to see the elephants. It’s the wet season and the elephants are hard to find and see. We had two interactions thanks to the teamwork. The guide also let the drive know when we were done taking pictures. The included lunch should also get a special shout out. This was served buffet style to a number of tour operators working together. There is a covered pavilion in the park next to the beach with washrooms. The crew set up lunch for everyone and we were served cold beverages as well. There were 10 dishes all very tasty. Clearly the food was make by locals with love and care. We finished the afternoon and were taken back to the car, to then be driven to the ship again. Everything was well organized. The tour operator had sent a few notices through WhatsApp to make sure we knew exactly what to expect. We could not have been happier.

Safari from cruise ship - We did this tour from a cruise stop in Hambantota, and it was excellent. The company met us at the cruise port with a name board, and because of the timing (Yala closes entry between 12 and 2pm) we had a little bit of a tour before the safari. We transferred to an open air safari vehicle near the park and had about two and a half hours in the park. You will see lots of animals! Elephants, water buffalo, and warthogs are common, as well as peacocks, herons, eagles, and many other birds. Maybe even a crocodile, or if you are very lucky, a leopard! Highly recommend.

Awesome! Beautiful Wildlife & Great Guide & Driver! - Amazing Day! We were picked up at the port by a very nice driver in an A/C van. We were taken almost to Yala where we switched to an open air 4x4 with a terrific guide & our driver came too. We saw so much wildlife which they spotted for us! Elephants, Water Buffalo, Antelopes, Storks, a Leopard’s Tail & more! An Amazing Day! Highly Recommend!!

The best experience ever - Everything was well organised by Bentota Travel Mart (BTM) Pick up was right in front of the Cruise 🛳. No waiting time everything was on time. Excellent coordination by Sam and the team from BTM. We were lucky to see the Leopard 🐆 and some other rare animals. Jeep was fun too. They took us all around till we see most of the animals which you can see during the Safari. The information provided during the tour was helpful and something for your knowledge about wild life. A well spent day and it was worth the amount we were charged for this beautiful experience. Pay little bit more and have the best experience rather than paying little less and have an average experience. Best of luck BTM.

Awful, unreliable vehicle - Our driver was great as far as spotting animals, but the vehicle that we were in could barely keep up with the other vans that were part of the excursion. Our vehicle looked like it was a rescue vehicle from World War II. The seats had holes in them. When it started pouring down rain, the driver realized that the windshield wipers weren’t working The transmission was barely able to move. When we finally stopped we couldn’t get the van started again without someone towing us so our concerns for getting back to the cruise terminal in a timely manner were certainly heightened, this van should’ve been checked out to make sure that it was in good working order before it was used to transport people.

Terrible Experience - Awful. Used Viator because they are part of Trip Advisor. The car that took us around was not a jeep as in most safaris, but a truck with seats on top. Very very uncomfortable. I was nauseous from the way the truck moved. Do not go.
