Really awesome - It was really great. Be sure to ride the tour with bus driver Andreas (Alias Karl-Otto). Does it really great with his hamburger muzzle. Priceless.

Super Insider Info - Super inside information through the co-moderation of our driver, a former guide on St Pauli. Super as an entry with tired children on the first day.

Great Loop but a few issues - The Hop On Hop Off buses are always a great way to see a city for the first time. We like to take the full loop and choose where we would like to come back to. The tour loop is fairly lengthy so plan your time accordingly. Unfortunately, we waited at stop 17 for over 30 minutes and buses kept passing us and not stopping. So we walked to the next stop and were picked up. The audio was very difficult to hear because unlike any other HOHO bus we’ve ever taken, this bus has the German tour loudly playing through the sound system and it was very difficult to hear my English audio through the ear pods. At the end of our loop, Stop 17 was passed again so we inquired of the driver who informed us only day that stop was closed for the day. All in all, this was not the best bus company to choose and I would look at other options before booking.

Excellent way to get around and visit Hamburg! - Twenty stops, you pick and chose which sites you want to visit. What's not to like? I found this to be a great way to visit Hamburg at my pace. I rode the bus through the entire loop twice, getting off at sites that interested me and resting my knees on the bus during the stops I chose to pass on. Riding the bus gave me an opportunity to take in Hamburg and plan stops for some great photos as well. Some drivers were humorous and others added to the history of each area. I waited no more than 10 - 15 minutes at most for another bus to come by which was perfect. Sitting on the upper deck with the roof open and taking in the sites with a nice breeze keeping my cool just made the tour so much more enjoyable.

Glad we have chosen this as a part of our 3 day trip to Hamburg. Easy way to visit the town as it saves you walking too much. - Nice way to see the city. Not best audio in terms of information shared but it was OK. Loved the break in the Japanese garden half way (stop 12) where it was lots to do with the kids and chill out at the same time in green open spaced.

Enjoy the city tour - Pros we see all the center and more distant neighborhoods around the lake reviews not bad for a German speaker! the negatives comments null in English and no French madame to grumble.

Good tour - Great way to see the sights in Hamburg and hear about their historical relevance! However, as they were playing the German version of the tour very loudly on the speakers, listeners preferring to listen to the tour (through earbuds they provide) in another language led to double audio and made it hard to hear and appreciate the English version of the tour. Also, it was hard to track the bus locations as there is no app to provide approximate times for the buses arrival. Glad I did the tour none the less :)

Not worth it - Bought tickets for the whole family. Bus overcrowded. Old worn dirty bus. Left us 30 minutes at the central train station ( the previous bus did not wait for passengers transferring ) disapointing.

Only for German or German speakers - Speakers with German guidance drowned out all sound in the headphones where it was possible to select English. But as I said impossible to hear because of the German in the speakers.
