Again any time - A fun and yet very interesting trip with the driver Andreas, Andreas drives very calmly and smoothly, has a lot of "insider knowledge" and always has a quick joke...

Great way to see Hamburg - We caught one of the red buses the driver neither spoke nor understood any English what so ever and didn’t give any headphones so we could listen to the commentary as we went around, which seemed a waste of time as we didn’t know where we were or what we were looking at .. also some of the stops were missed, and we didn’t know why! Apparently they were closed for the day as there was a protest on, and roads closed off, which we didn’t find out till later when we caught another hoho bus with a driver who spoke English! Half way around the circuit as we waited at a stop, I went back down to the driver as I noticed others had the ear buds to plug in and managed to get some for us! We got off this bus and had some lunch and noticed another red bus at the stop, so we got onto this one and the driver was very friendly and spoke English and explained why earlier some of the stops were closed so we did the circuit again which was most enjoyable!

Gave a good overview of Hamburg - We usually find the bus tours a helpful way of figuring out what attractions we want to visit while in a city and this delivered on that. We were given head sets to use for English pre-recorded commentary. The driver was giving additional information (and humour by the sounds of it) which my school German was no use for! so I felt I missed out a bit, but apart from that it was a good way to view the city.

Not our favorite excursion - The tour sounded so good, but it disappointed. The stops weren't in order. One stop we sat for 20 mins. I don't know if he was waiting to fill the bus or what the issue was. The top deck was so warm, but the driver finally opened the top.

Good if you speak German - Essentially a good tour of Hamburg. Commentary is mainly by driver over loudspeakers in German. Headphones are provided to plug into translation in many languages but my English commentary was hard to hear due to very loud live German being spoken through speakers. Driver did acknowledge in English that there were some English and Danish people on the bus which was nice, but that was the only English we got except for don't stand up when went under a low bridge! 1.5h tour overall worth doing but if the live commentary was no as loud it would have been better.

Good way to see sights of Hamburg - Bus and locations were good but hard to hear English via headset as German commentary was over load speaker. Most of the staff were non English speaking which made it difficult when several stops were cut from the route, even the one we boarded the bus at. Still an enjoyable day out.

Not great - Take it as a tourist train. The French commentary does not work everywhere. Impossible to get off at the stops because it doesn't actually stop there except at the station stop. Take it as a city tour.
