Segway tour of Hamburg 2024. - We just completed a superb 3 hour segway tour of Hamburg. The highlight of the tour was our amazing guide, Savvy. He was so knowledgeable, giving us so much interesting information throughout. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he made the tour a stand-out success. Hamburg itself was an amazing place to visit, and a segway tour ensures you cover a lot of ground in a little time. This allowed us to see a lot of the city. My wife and I would highly recommend this company and the tour itself. Ask for Savvy if he is available.

A great way to see Hamburg’s sights - Covers a lot of ground, including a visit (on foot) to the Elbphilharmonia building and a traverse of the Elbe in the tunnel under the river. From the Reeperbahn to the city center, all effortlessly by Segway, over 3 hours. It’s a great way to see the city. Leader Kelvin was excellent.

Nice sights — lackluster tour - Sights were beautiful, but Kelvin, our tour guide, wasn’t fantastic. I’m not sure if he was sick, but he was not enthusiastic or happy on our tour. It was just me and my husband— so maybe he wasn’t happy to do it with so few people? As a tour guide, you need to be excited to share information with your clients. He hardly told us anything about the sights we stopped to see. It was minimal info. He was a nice person and kind to us — don’t get me wrong there — just not a great tour.

Better to find an alternative - The guide was ok. Unfortunately, the organization around it was a medium disaster, which was at least half compensated by the guide and his friendliness. 20 minutes before the start of the tour (!) we got a call if we can push the tour one hour behind. To 15.00 instead of 14.00. Our suggestion that this is bad as we had a follow-up date was "resolved" in so far as that should get a 2-hour private tour instead of 3 in the group. Effectively we then had to kill an hour, there will already be on site. We got into this. 10 minutes after 15.00 a guide can return with another tour. A German-speaking colleague should come soon, who should do the private tour with us. She did, too, only to suddenly announce that she's calling it a day. So the tour had to take place in English. We started around 3.30pm. The planned stops were then only partially approached, note from the guide he actually did not know the tour himself; and after not quite two hours, shortly after 17.00, it was all over. We have done many Segway tours. In San Francisco, in Washington, in Oslo, in Berlin. But that was by far the worst. Too bad.
