Great way to see the harbor and experience Hamburg from the water - This was a very interesting tour. The commentary is only German, however there is an app you can download which offers commentary in multiple languages. The cruise goes around the main sights in Hamburg on the water such as the philharmonic orchestra building, the Speicherstadt and some of the interesting ships on the harbor. You also get see places in the industrial harbor that you can't reach except via the water. There were some interesting container ships, military ships and mega-yachts as well. Highly recommend this tour, as it is also one of the best in terms of value for money. Other tours are either more expensive, or the ship isn't as comfortable or just too short.

Super experience for young and old - Everything great! You never had the feeling that it would get boring in those 2h. Super captain who always had a spell in store. Very interesting and highly recommended.

great way to see the city - The Hamburg Harbor Cruise was a great way to see the city from the water! The views of the harbor, the Elbphilharmonie, and the bustling docks were stunning. The guide provided interesting commentary about the city's maritime history. The only downside was the weather, but it didn’t take away from the experience. A relaxing and enjoyable tour—definitely worth doing!

A great tour for the money! - OK so first off the tour was a 5. What made us give it a 4 is the app, it is very quirky and you really should bring headphones. The tour guide was really cool he came to us and gave us some info in English when he could. The prices for the snacks etc were very reasonable, not the greatest selection but hey you're only there for 2 hours. The other issue you will have is finding the right boat for your tour, the St. Pauli piers are not small they're very long and a lot of the same company boats are docked there. Just make sure to ask someone at the info desk for the tour company and pay attention to the berth number that they give you.

Listening on the app needs improvement - The views and the boat were great. Enjoyed the drinks and snacks. The app to listen in English wasn’t great. It lost signal a lot and wouldn’t give the spiel for what you were passing until it caught back up. Maybe there was WiFi on the shop and we missed it. Also the app has far less information than the live German speaker. I would suggest offering an English language trip once a day or adding a lot more to the app so it matches the experience German speakers get.

Long waiting time - Tour was supposed to start at 11am and we had to wait until the ship was full. After more than 30 minutes of waiting, it only started.

Better signaling and better information previous to the tour - We arrived early and there was no clear indications about where to take the boat. We were at pier 1 and they sent us to pier 7, there were se real boats of this company and they sent us to a particular ship where they were no one. We wait until close to the tour time and someone show up just to tell us that we were given wrong instructions and that we need to get back to pier 1. The trip was scheduled for 3 pm and we end up leaving at 3:30. They told us to download an app with the tour in other languages than German that was not working properly, some of the stations were only noise. No one provide instructions to solve the problem and only in the boat we knew about this and the need of earphones. The boat was on good conditions and the city spots shown in the tour were great

I was unimpressed with... - I was unimpressed with the english version of the tour. It was an app that you had to download, we are all from the USA so our service wasn't good and the app would not download fast enough. And then the english prompts were not even half as good as the commentary from the germany speaking tour guide. I would not recommend this tour for any english only speaking people.

Don’t do it if you aren’t fluent in German no matter what the sales page says - The first experience was the waitress crabbing at us because we had brought our own bottles of water onto the ship. We weren’t allowed to set them on the tables. What kind of nonsense is that? We didn’t want to drink beer! And the audio did not work because they didn’t tell us in advance we had to download an app for English so, even though I know a smattering of German, the guided tour sucked. So it was an expensive spin around the harbour… no real information.
