Join the guide near Sternschanze station in the early afternoon to embark on the first part of the tour, a 1-hour stroll through the Sternschanze district, moving towards Sankt Pauli, and then through Katoviertel to the city center. During the journey, various styles of street art and graffiti will be showcased. The guide will provide insights into the historical backgrounds of these areas, offering a deeper understanding of the subcultures, gentrification, and other political movements. The guides are skilled in leading tours and conducting workshops, and are native English or German speakers to ensure a top-notch experience.
After drawing inspiration from the streets, participants will engage in a 2-hour workshop in an old factory building at Gängeviertel, a former squatter building in the city center. Seasoned street artists will demonstrate various graffiti and street art techniques. Using cutters, markers, and spray paint, participants will create their first street-art piece to take home or leave on the streets.
The workshop concludes near the Gänsemarkt metro station, conveniently located in the city center.
