Perfect for hot days - A perfect, entertaining excursion, especially for hot days. It was wonderfully airy, the guide was very funny and we could see a lot: Blankenese, Airbus, the Aida, the docks.

Highly recommended - We really liked it. Very amusing moderation of Marlon (?), but also with many interesting facts. The journey through the Speicherstadt is an experience, but also the container terminal

Super experience in the Speicherstadt and Hafen City - We got here a wonderful, 2 hour round trip through the Speicherstadt and the harbour. The facts were presented very humorously and the guide also addressed any additional questions. It was just great! We can highly recommend this experience (especially the 2 hour version)! For those who want to save some money, check out Get your Guide, where we were able to get a 10 Euro discount on each ticket today. Definitely a Recommendation!

Nice tour of Speicherstadt and the port - Nice tour of Speicherstadt among warehouses a. Then out into the current harbor with huge container ships. It was recommended to download their app and use headphones. I did. However, the guide spoke so loudly in German that it drowned out my earphones. Otherwise a pleasant experience. It's a little difficult to find there when you've pre-purchased tickets, so I recommend that you get there in good time.

Harbour cruise - Great view of a working harbour. Interesting to get up so close to container ships. Would have liked an option to have audio guide in English if possible

Only in German - An interesting 2 hour cruise through Hamburg. However, we only speak English and the audio was only in German. I was given a flyer with directions to download an audio ap. However, I could not do so without internet service. Also ride does not provide headsets. So we were not prepared for this excursion. Wish we had been given directions when we signed up.

Worthwhile trip - Took the 1.5 hour harbour trip. Downloaded the app as recommended so we could understand the commentary. The app started off as we left the dock and then the commentary stopped. It did return for another five minutes later on. Slightly disappointed as we knew the commentary was going to be in German but thought the app would allow us to listen in English Trip took us to Speicherstadt one way and then down to the container port and cruise terminal Recommend if you are English and happy yo fo without commentary or understanding of sites

The boat tour is nice yet the app and lack of English guide is unacceptable… mediocre setup. - It’s just ok. When I read other reviews I thought maybe they did not follow the instructions. Let me give you a bit more details. I did download the app to listen the tour in English. The app does explain maybe 60% of the tour (the most important sites). When we enter the Speicherstadt area (canals), even before that area, there is no explanation in the app. Literally the last 30 to 45 min of the tour I don’t know what exactly I looked at or the importance of them. At that point I just took random photos or videos… Also if you order anything on the boat make sure to bring cash in euros. They don’t take dollars. When you want to pay with card, there is a 10 euros minimum charge… so over all it was disappointing, in a country like Germany.

Skip it - Do not let the photo fool you. 80% of the tour is looking at container ships in the harbor. The small part through the city is unguided and hard to see. The app is not user friendly. The guide speaks loudly in German making it hard to even hear the app. He gives a detailed speech while the app is a brief overview and hard to follow. The boat was also very far from the meeting spot listed so leave plenty of time. I am a big fan of Viator. This is the first time I have been hugely disappointed.
