Spectacular and informative multiple garden tour - Tim was an exceptional guide. He catered his tour to our interests and was a wealth of information. His attitude, demeanor, and sense of humor made our tour quite lovely. We highly recommend Tim.

I feels like I’ve traveled the world in few hours! 😄 - A must visit place if you are in Hamilton. Some of the gardens reminded me of countries that I’ve visited 😊

Great Tour! - Thoroughly enjoyed the highlights tour with Tour Guide Chrissen today. I learnt lots of new things about the gardens, despite having visited on my own many times. I think a highlights tour is a "must do" for regular visitors. It's nice to slow down and take time to really explore the spaces, it's special corners and amazing plants. Thanks Chrissen!

Amazing - My cousin and I did the Maori garden tour for Matariki this year and it was so amazing. I highly recommend it. The tour guide was amazing, so informative and knowledgeable. Of all the times that I have been to the gardens I was never aware that the land is also very sacred which was awesome to learn the history of. I definitely recommend this for all families of all nationalities.

Really engaging guide - Superbly laid out different gardens that are worth a visit even on a rainy day. Each one has it's own unique character and you can walk around on your own but I'm glad I paid for a group guided tour. Our guide was so clearly enthused with the gardens and keen to pass on all her knowledge. She really made the visit so special. Unfortunately, I never noted down her name but I believe she was a volunteer so even more impressive. For the shoppers out there, Hamilton Gardens does have a lovely gift shop. The prices are a little high but some quality items there.

Top notch - Incredible experience. It was raining but that didn’t ruin our time there at all. A world class attraction and I can’t believe it’s free. We donated at the end because we want to see it continue to thrive. Well done to the whole team who is involved - amazing place

Worth seeing if in Hamilton - We stopped by on our way to Auckland from Rotorua. Pretty nice gardens and very relaxing to walk around and spend some time if you have. The cafe was also cool as it has a great view of a good size pond/lake ?

Not wowed at all - We found getting into the place v hard as there were no directions from the car park, so we walked a lot before we got in. The gardens, whilst they were well done on the whole, didn’t make us go wow, in fact we were somewhat underwhelmed
