Awesome half day Safari - We chose this trip as we only had limited free time in our business trip, and it definitely worth it, a short trip from Johannesburg, and we entered a great adventure, we saw lot of animals like Giraffes, Zebra, Impalas, Kudus and Hyenas, unfortunately we didn’t see lions. But overall it was an excellent experience, the driver picked us on time and the ranger was very enthusiastic and she had a wealth of knowledge of the wild life.

An easy and fun way to see Africa's animals, only a short drive from central Jo'Burg - An exceptional half day tour. Our driver (Kevin) picked us up early from our hotel. Once at the Mongena reserve within Dinokeng we were able to have some breakfast before Charlie took us out for the morning. Saw loads of animals including lions and white rhinos. Charlie was exceptionally motivated and intelligent, which made for a fantastic time. Stopped for snacks part-way through the safari drive, before he took us back to Mongena, and Kevin was waiting to take us back to Jo'Burg. A very easy half day, highly recommend.

The Safari was none other than spectacular - The Safari experience was AMAZING! Our driver was so hospitable and knowledgeable about the animals. The Safari grounds were beautiful and the people were so kind. We saw more animals than expected.

Great tour guide - Ben, took us on a half-day tour of the lion park. He turned up on time, was very friendly, and knew a lot about the park. I highly recommend him and will encourage others I know visiting Joburg to use his services. A great experience.

Nice little safari - We saw cheetahs! Safari is short. Pleasant location. Long drive from Johannesburg. Driver who picked us up was very pleasant but his car was not air conditioned.

My first Safari at sunset - I travel for work and had a free day so I thought I would see some animals while in South Africa, in Johannesburg . The tour was amazing with Erin, from Mongena game lodge. I saw so many animals up close and got to see twice zebras giraffes! Erin was a helpful and insightful tour guide. We had the sunset safari and the view was spectacular! I included some photos to share the amazing scenario that I saw. The reservation includes pick up from your hotel and Ben was an amazing driver. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

Our first safari was amazing - We absolutely loved everything about the Safari tour guide Ben was amazing. He was patient and worked with us. I will recommend this to everyone. We were able to see the big 5 and more we loved the snacks and drinks he provided and his strong passion for the animals.

Excellent safari close to the city - Since our trip was quite short, the half-day safari was perfect for getting a small taste of nature near Johannesburg. The team at South Africa Adventures was quick to respond to any questions and booking was easy and straightforward. Tebogo, our driver to and from Dinokeng Reserve, was a really friendly guy who was very punctual and was considerate when planning logistics to make sure that we got to the tour on time, and also very informative when it came to my various questions about South Africa. Our safari guide, Jacques, was great - he was always encouraging questions from all the visitors and his passion for his work and care for the environment were very clear.

Awesome Mini Safari - This was a great safari. It was my first time, and the whole process was smooth and safe. I was picked up promptly at the appointed time and arrived at the gaming lodge early. The driver, Bongi, was extremely pleasant and informative. I had planned to sleep on the way there, but we spoke the entire one-hour drive.
At the reserve, I checked in and wandered the property until we departed. Our guide was informative and attentive to the interests of the guests. The whole experience lasted two and a half hours, with a break built in, where we were provided snacks and drinks. Managed to see lots of things: birds, Mikey’s, impalas, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, etc. No lion made himself visible at this hour in the morning.
Overall, a great experience, and I highly recommend it!
