Fun for all ages - We had a fab time following the tour of Winchester today. Our group ranged from 19 to 73 years old - we all had fun. I worked in the city for 10 years and discovered some streets I'd never explored. It's such a great way to learn about a city!

An excellent day out - As usual it was outstanding and so many things to see that a casual visitor would never happen upon! Clue 11 (Morley College) has been covered up as there are extensive building works being undertaken so had to use the Extra Clue. Clue 12 was also hidden, again due to building works, but using a bit of cunning (and standing on tiptoe) it was possible to see the very bottom of the inscription!!! Overall it was an excellent day and I'm looking forward to going to another venue soon. Thanks Jack and your Team.

Winchester in all it's glory! - We absolutely loved this mystery guide of Winchester. It had a good combination of easy and a bit tougher clues to solve and the factual history was very interesting. I love these guides as it takes you on to streets you wouldn't necessarily walk along when visiting a city. Winchester was beautiful and we had a great day!

A wonderful informative way to see a city - What a great way to see the city. Loved the way the guide took us around and explained the history of places we visited. The guides do not have to be done on one day you can stop and start at anytime.

Fantastic, really engaging for the whole family. - Fantastic, really engaging for the whole family. We had 2 adults and 3 children (8-10 yp). And they loved it. The directions couldn’t have been clearer and the puzzles were just the right balance to not be too easy and not too hard to lose interest. Will definitely be looking for another one when visiting another city.

Lovely introduction to a beautiful old city - What a lovely way to get to know this beautiful old city. There’s so much to see here that you probably wouldn’t notice without the tour pointing you in the right direction. Loved it!

Great adventure - Great adventure found all the clues except one as it was in a corridor which was closed for maintenance. Bought as a Christmas present for my hubby, he had a ball. Also included was a pub quiz too. All brilliant. Walked around the medieval part of Winchester saw amazing buildings etc. We took about three hours including 1/2 hour for lunch. Some clue more difficult than others. First time using these guides, we have two more to do and can't wait to get going. We did park and ride 3.50 for the whole day.

Winchester Mystery Guide - The Mystery Guide to Winchester was our seventh mystery guide, so as you can imagine my wife and I are confirmed fans. We love these guides as a way to show us around new towns. Neither of us had visited Winchester before, so loved the way we were guided around this excellent historic city. As I have said we have done plenty of these before, and we have always found the clues to be very accurate, however in this one I have a few criticisms of some of the clues. Please, if you are doing this guide don't read any further, I don't intend to make them spoilers, but they could be. Please tell me if I have misunderstood any clues. Clue 2 I don't know why the word suspicion was used in the clue, it is misleading. Clue 6, as you stated, it was locked, so we had to do the alternative clue, no real problem. Clue 8, either my maths is out or you have got this clue wrong (I am always ready to accept it was my mistake) Could you please recheck it. Clue 11 is on private land, the wording is obscured by the light and in the spring it will be difficult to see it through the hedge. Clue 14, which I thought was an excellent clue, however there are 2 sets of letters on the badge, although I must admit that the correct ones are where the question marks are. (I'm being very picky) I will add some pictures, as always I will try not to show spoilers.

A nice historical walk - This was a great way to learn some of the history of Winchester, the route was very easy to follow but I did struggle with a couple of clues, it would be nice to have the final answer confirmed. Overall I would recommend this treasure hunt
