First, we’ll drive you to West Lake (Maojiabu Area). Many visitors come to Hangzhou specifically for West Lake, a famous landmark. You’ll enjoy a private boat cruise around the Maojiabu Area. West Lake is divided into five sections, and the Maojiabu scenic area is rich in architectural styles, mostly built near the water. These can be categorized into three types: wooden thatched kiosks, wooden pavilions, and green-tiled houses. Despite their different forms, the overall style is simple, natural, harmonious, and integrated with the wetland landscape. This area is much more peaceful than other parts, allowing you to immerse yourself in the scenery and forget all your worries.
- Guo’s Garden - Next, we’ll visit Guo Garden, the best-preserved traditional private residence in Hangzhou, built in the late Qing Dynasty. With a mountain at its back and West Lake in front, the garden is known as the ‘Number One Garden of the West Lake’ for its tranquil environment, well-preserved buildings, and tasteful landscaping. It’s an ideal place for taking pictures.
- Meijia Dock - The last stop on the tour is Meijiawu Tea Culture Village, renowned for its history of exquisite tea. Here, elaborate tea ceremonies are held, allowing you to understand the importance of tea ceremonies in Chinese culture.
