The big slides was sou... - The big slides was sou fun! But in the afternoon too much children from school... Lunch was OK. It was so relaxing in thermal pool... Parents and children like it.

Excellent experience - This place is absolutely outstanding. Not only is everyhting super clean and the water clear and sparkly, but it's great for the whole family. So many options! We spent 5 hours here each day for 2 days. We visited the Tea Kiosk with our coeliac child and the pizza was delicious. Some of the best pizza I've had outside Italy where I've spent lots of time. The coffee and wine was average but that'a tiny detail of what is an amazing place. We loved ALL the pools and there was heaps of life guards too which was reassuring with kids on the hydroslides and pools. Totally worth the $$$.

Well worth stopping over. - We were heading from Franz Joseph to the east coast and took this short detour. Booked a private room. Lovely, so relaxing, it was hard to leave after an hour. Can throughly recommend.

Wonderful and refreshing 👏🙏👍👍👍 - We tried the private thermal pool. It had a temperature of 38 to 41 degrees. I was a bit sceptical of the value at first…
But…
I felt a million dollars after only 30 minutes. It was amazingly refreshing.
My scepticism disappeared completely.
It was WONDERFUL. 👍👍👍

Fantastic massage in the spa. Great experience in the pools. - I’ve rarely had a better massage. Hamish is a qualified physio and masseur. He absolutely knew how to find the tight, knotty muscles. He gave the sort of pressure I needed and like. I can’t bear those soft massages where the therapist doesn’t seem to know where your muscles are located! Ask for Hamish (but act quickly as he’s only there for a limited period!)
And delightfully personable.
The pools are well maintained and, once you’re used to the smell is sulphur (tbh it’s not that strong) it’s a lively experience.

Thermal pools and big slide thrills in a scenic location - Perfect for a work trip with mixed ages and gender. So relaxing in the thermal pools, but also great to have a good swim in the lap pool. Then it was all to the big slides for thrills with screaming and laughter, and back to the thermal pools to warm up and relax. A great selection of pool temperatures and sizes to choose from in a beautiful scenic location.

Private Pools - We booked a private pool and were so pleased we did. Easter weekend was very busy and the pools were busy. Our private pool was awesome..and it also did give us access to the other public pools. Although the change rooms were chaotic and unpleasant. Not enough space or privacy.
The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome.

A MUST DO in the beautiful Hanmer Springs - Absolutely loved the different hot pools and the 2 tube slides were so much fun. My favourite pools we're the ones with the cold waterfall feature. The lockers with wrist bands for lockers are a great idea.
The only reason for the one star off was the girl that was at the entrance when we first came in wasn't friendly or helpful.
But we will definitely be back.

Great pools - I had some really relaxing hours in the hot baths. I particularly enjoyed the hot (40-42 degrees) sulfur baths. The only thing I missed a bit was a cold water tub to cool down.
