Defiantly worth doing - Great day out and easy way to experience Halong Bay from Hanoi. The coach was easy to meet, was comfortable and made rest stops for the longish drive there and back. Sunny our guide was very friendly and informative, and really helped keep us organised as we went from activity to activity. Then of course there is the bay itself which is stunning and must not be missed. I recommend you make the trip on your stay and things good company to do it with.

Great day trip - Sunny was excellent. We joined the tour at Halong Bay rather than Hanoi. The tour was a great way to see parts of Halong Bay and we loved Kayaking. The crew were all friendly and the service on board the boat was amazing.

Halong bay 1 day trip - Very beautifull trip, Sunny the guide is very funny. Very good service for the price.In 1 day we've seen many beautiful things pretty fast, if you want to be more relaxed make 2 o 3 days

Beatiful sceneary in Ha Long Bay - We enjoyed a lot the trip. The views are amazing and our guy Sunny Chuong was the best! He explained us everything about Ha Noi and Ha Long Bay. We highly recommend it.

Great experience with our tour guide Sunny - We had Sunny as our tour guide. He was fantastic! We got picked up right from our hotel in the old quarter and from the start Sunny was friendly, funny, and really helpful with sharing knowledge about our activities for the day, the history of the places we were going, and more. Ha long day was beautiful and Sunny kept the tour on time. We had a great time!

Charming tour guide and great views - Had the best time with my tour guide, Sunny! He was so funny. I was traveling solo so he paired me with another solo traveler, we ended up becoming good friends. You get a little time at each stop - if you want more time, you’ll have to book an overnight cruise. I felt like this was sufficient and met expectations as a day cruise.

Amazing trip - Sunny! He is funny and nice tour guide! The logistic was so smooth! We did not need to wait a lot for every activity. Kayaking was fun! The sea view and cave were amazing! I recommend people should join the trip when they come to Hanoi.

Bad cruise operator for Ha Long Bay tour - Disclaimer: Tour operator Jessica was very apologetic of the bad experience and refunded us $20 per person. However, this was the experience with the cruise operator, which they will try to not cooperate with in the future. Bus took >90 minutes to pick everyone up, you spend more time driving there and back than you do on the boat. The food that was served was cold and inedible. The first stop in ha long bay was nice, with some time to swim or hike. The second stop was to go kayaking, which is why we booked with this company. There were more people than kayaks and they told us to get back to the boat by a certain time or we would be left. So we did not get to go kayaking, but the boat ended up leaving an hour late anyways. The final stop was horrible, with over an hour being given for a crowded cave tour where everyone was hoarded like sheep. To give insult to injury, the happy hour we were served stale cold french fries. On top of everything, people were on the boat constantly selling cheap jewelry and garbage.
