Day 1: HANOI – DOAN XA VILLAGE (Paddy Home)

8:00 Our guide will pick you up at your hotel, then head to the countryside where you will be hosted by a local family.

11:00 Arrive in Doan Xa village, check into your room, rest, and enjoy a lunch of Vietnamese cuisine.

14:30 Bike through lush rice fields and villages, where you will learn and participate in rice cultivation with the friendly locals.

16:00 Return to the village and relax by fishing, reading a book, or strolling around to learn more about local daily life.

19:30 Dinner, followed by tea and a conversation with the house owner to learn about the Vietnam War and the life of Vietnamese people during the economic subsidies and farm cooperative era. Overnight at the homestay.

Day 2: DOAN XA VILLAGE - BAI TU LONG BAY CRUISE (B/L/D)

7:30 It’s highly recommended to wake up early for a stroll around the village, then return to your host for breakfast.

8:30 Visit the quiet local markets to learn about the local people, then continue to the Ceramic Village to see how pottery and ceramics are made.

10:30 Board the shuttle bus to continue your journey to Halong.

12:30 Arrive at the pier and transfer by tender to the cruise.

12:45 Enjoy a welcome drink, receive a safety briefing, and check into your cabin.

13:30 Savor a delicious Vietnamese set menu while leisurely cruising to the core of Halong Bay.

15:00 Arrive at Cap La Island, a beautiful area in Bai Tu Long Bay. Enjoy kayaking through the karst formations, swimming, and relaxing.

17:30 Return to the boat and enjoy a sunset party while cruising to the Cong Do area.

19:00 Dinner onboard. Free time to relax on the sundeck or try your luck with squid fishing. Overnight on board.

Day 3: THIEN CANH SON CAVE – HON GAI HARBOR

6:30 Start your day with Tai Chi exercises on the sundeck, followed by breakfast at 7:00.

8:00 Explore Thien Canh Son cave. Your guide will explain the history of Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and the cave, all crafted by Mother Nature.

9:30 Return to the boat. You will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all belongings from your cabin.

10:30 Participate in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration on the boat.

11:00 Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese meal.

12:00 Disembark at Hon Gai pier and return to Hanoi.

17:00 Drop off at your address in Hanoi Old Quarter.
