Meet the tour guide in the morning and get fitted with high-quality mountain bikes. The ride will start from the city center, following the Mekong River on a mix of dirt and paved roads through local villages. Stops will include the mulberry paper-making and weaving village, Ban Xieng Lek, and Ban Xiang Hai village, famously known as the Whiskey Village for its Lao Lao rice whiskey.
The Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers converge in Pak Ou, a breathtaking location with magnificent limestone cliffs rising from the waters. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a selected restaurant offering a fantastic view of both rivers and the cave. After lunch, a private boat will ferry the group across the river to the sacred Pak Ou Caves, where there will be ample time to explore the thousands of Buddha relics in both the lower and upper caves.
Board the longtail boat again for a relaxing and picturesque 25 km cruise on the Mekong River, taking approximately 1.5 hours to return to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, cycle back to the bike shop to conclude this unforgettable full-day tour.
