Old Quarter - 7:00-7:30. Hotel pick-up in Hanoi’s Old Quarter area and departure to Cat Ba Island via Expressway, approximately a 3.5-hour journey.

Cat Ba Island - 11:30. Arrival at Ben Beo pier on Cat Ba Island, a hub for fishermen and tourist boats visiting Lan Ha Bay, located just 2km from the town.

Cat Ba National Park - 12:00-12:30. Transfer from Ben Beo harbor by fast canoe to our charming homestay in Viet Hai village, situated about 10 kilometers from Cat Ba town. Nestled in the heart of Cat Ba’s jungle, the village is surrounded by lush forests, mountains, and stunning scenery. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese meal. Afternoon: Follow our tour guide for trekking and hiking at Navy Peak to get an overview of Cat Ba National Park. If time permits, climb to the mountain’s summit for a panoramic view of Lan Ha Bay, Halong Bay, and Cat Ba National Park. 18:30: Savor a local dinner at our restaurant.

Lan Ha Bay - 18:30. After dinner, join our tour guide for a night-time kayak on Lan Ha Bay to witness the sparkling bioluminescent plankton and observe local village activities at night. Overnight stay at our homestay!

Viet Hai village - Discover Lan Ha Bay full day by boat - Hanoi (B, L)

Viet Hai Village - 7:30. Enjoy breakfast at our restaurant. 8:45: Our golf cart will transport you from Viet Hai village to Viet Hai harbor. 9:00: Arrival at Viet Hai Pier, where our tour guide will provide entrance tickets for Lan Ha Bay and HaLong Bay, included in the tour price.

Lan Ha Bay - 9:15. Board the boat to Lan Ha Bay. The initial sail around Lan Ha Bay reveals spectacular limestone rock towers rising from the sea, with numerous karst formations in unique shapes (chopsticks and seals).

Dark & Light Cave - 10:30. Explore the natural lagoon area of Lan Ha Bay by kayaking through Dark and Bright Caves, tunnels, and archways. This lagoon is the most beautiful in Lan Ha Bay for kayaking and is also a conservation area. If lucky, you might spot Cat Ba langurs (Golden-headed monkeys).

Lan Ha Bay - 12:30. The boat anchors at the border of Lan Ha Bay and HaLong Bay for lunch, freshly prepared and served in Vietnamese style by the local crew on board (vegetarian options available). Enjoy lunch while cruising through the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations. 13:30: The boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long Bay. 14:30: Swimming and jumping from the boat at Ba Trai Dao Beach, a natural, remote, quiet, and less-touristy spot. Discover the temple beach, more lagoons, and arches. 15:00: Visit a local fish farm to see how fishermen live on the water and farm fish. 15:30: Cruise back to the pier, enjoying the magical sunset with local drinks as the boat returns to the harbor.

Old Quarter - 16:00. The bus will pick you up for the return trip to Hanoi, arriving around 20:00 at Hanoi Old Quarter. End of trip!
