My visit to Bat Trang.. - I visited Vietnam for the first time and can tell you it'll not be the last! I had so much fun in my entire trip. On the second last day, I went for Bat Trang (Pottery Village) tour which I booked with Hanoi Free Private Tour Guide. My guide was Gracie who was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the tour. She did good job in explaining the rich culture, history and civilization of Vietnam. I did shoot a few videos for my YouTube channel in the village. Then after, we went to the Pottery Museum which is newly opened. Had learnt about the craft in the nearby antique house and also saw live making of artifacts and painting by visitors. Made back to hostel by evening through a local bus. Overall, it was a good experience and also a unique one because I had never done a kind of walking tour before.. Recommended 👍

Great doing yourself experience - The experience of doing your own pottery was amazing. Though the place is far from the old quarter just about 30 minutes grab, the experience was great and highly recommended if you love hand made things. And the guide May is good.

Visit to Duong Lam Village - I visited Duong Lam Village with Van! A more than private visit since I was all alone, so really a real privilege. The tour was incredible. Van explained a lot to me about the village and also gave me recommendations about Hanoi. I more than enjoyed this visit with her. We met the locals, all smiling and welcoming. I recommend the experience and I thank Van for his kindness, his patience, his listening

Spinning the wheel - Trong made this day out to the ceramics village really enjoyable. He had a very pleasant manner, was interesting to talk and listen to. He made the other tourist and myself feel at ease, we enjoyed trying to throw pots on a manual wheel. A really great day.
