Depart from your hotel in Hanoi at 8:30 am and head west to Duong Lam village, a traditional agricultural community in the Northern Red River delta, known for its well-preserved centuries-old houses.
Upon arrival, enjoy a bike ride through narrow, ancient alleys to visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu hamlet, the only hamlet with its original village entrance gate still intact, honoring national heroes. Continue cycling around the village to explore the daily life and farming activities of Vietnamese peasants along the terraces, with stops at two ancient houses: the largest, built 200 years ago, and the oldest, dating back 400 years.
After lunch and a rest, visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, both dedicated to national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung. Continue biking to Mia Pagoda, located in another hamlet in Duong Lam village, built in the 15th century, and admire 287 statues of various sizes, including renowned sculptures like the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Vajra Deities.
Return to Hanoi, with the guided tour concluding at 5:30 pm at your hotel.
