Leaving my finance job in Seoul, I embarked on a 10-day adventure through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. From the vibrant streets of Hanoi to the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor Wat, this journey was filled with unforgettable experiences and exceptional service.
Arrival in Hanoi: A Warm Welcome
After leaving my finance job in Seoul to embrace the life of a digital nomad, I found myself in Hanoi, ready to embark on the 10-Day Adventure through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. The moment I landed, I was greeted by a courteous driver holding a sign with my name. It was a seamless transition from the bustling airport to the calm of my hotel, where I was welcomed with a refreshing drink and a comfortable room.
The first day was all about settling in and exploring the vibrant streets of Hanoi. I wandered through the Old Quarter, sampling street food and chatting with fellow travelers. The city was alive with energy, and I felt a sense of excitement for the journey ahead. The next morning, I was picked up by a friendly guide who spoke excellent English, and we set off for Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital.
Exploring Vietnam’s Natural Wonders
The journey to Hoa Lu was a scenic drive through lush landscapes, and upon arrival, I was captivated by the ancient temples of the Le and Dinh Dynasties. The history and architecture were fascinating, and our guide shared stories that brought the past to life. After a delicious lunch, we embarked on a boat trip through Tam Coc, where limestone karsts rose majestically from the water.
Kayaking in Ha Long Bay was a highlight of the trip. The emerald waters and towering limestone islands created an ethereal atmosphere. As I paddled through the bay, I felt a sense of peace and wonder. The evening was spent on a beautiful cruise ship, where we enjoyed a five-course vegetarian meal. The service was impeccable, and the views were breathtaking.
From Temples to Floating Markets
Leaving Vietnam, I flew to Siem Reap, Cambodia, where the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor Wat awaited. The intricate carvings and towering structures were a testament to human creativity and resilience. Our guide was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring we had plenty of time to explore and take photos.
The final leg of the journey took me to Bangkok, Thailand, where I experienced the vibrant floating markets and stunning temples. The long-tail boat ride through the canals was a unique way to see the city, and the local food was a feast for the senses. From the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho to the Marble Temple, each site was more impressive than the last.
Throughout the tour, the service provided by PrestiGo Asia was exceptional. They listened to my needs, accommodated my vegetarian diet, and ensured every detail was taken care of. The itinerary was well-planned, and the guides were both informative and friendly. It was a journey filled with unforgettable experiences and beautiful memories.
