Old Quarter - 07:15 – 7:30: The guide and driver will pick you up from your accommodation in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area or the Hanoi Opera House if you are outside this area, and then head to Ninh Binh for a 2-hour drive.

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - 10:15 - 10:30: Explore Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. This is an opportunity to learn about Vietnamese history during the feudal system under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.

Tam Coc - 11:45- 12:00: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant featuring a variety of local dishes. At 13:00, embark on a 1.5-hour bamboo boat tour of Tam Coc. Be captivated by the enchanting scenery of paddy fields, rivers, clouds, sky, and a remarkable cave system during the boat trip. This area is often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land” by the Vietnamese. At 14:30, continue the tour with a 45-minute cycling excursion around the village to experience the local lifestyle.

Mua Caves - 16:00: The final stop is Mua Cave, often likened to the “Great Wall of China.” Climb 500 steps to reach the top of Mua Cave and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Ninh Binh and Tam Coc.

Tam Coc - At the end of the day, you will be taken directly to a Homestay/Bungalow for check-in, followed by dinner at the homestay/bungalow restaurant. Enjoy free time to relax and observe the local community and village. Spend the night in a homestay/bungalow in Ninh Binh.

TRANSFER NINH BINH TO HALONG BAY DAY CRUISE - HANOI (B/L)

Tam Coc - 6:45 - 7:00: After breakfast, check out of your room at the Homestay/Bungalow. A shared limousine bus will pick you up from your accommodation in Ninh Binh and transfer you to Halong Bay for an Overnight Cruise (no guide during transfer). The drive to Halong Bay takes approximately 4 to 4.5 hours.
