Ha Giang - This destination marks the beginning of an extensive journey for every tourist exploring the Dong Van Ha Giang stone plateau. It is the starting point for a long adventure through mountain passes and steep cliffs. It holds great spiritual significance, creating lasting memories of a unique trip for each visitor. Ha Giang tourism often brings to mind Mong villages and traditional houses. However, the rocky plateau is home to many other ethnic minorities as well. For instance, Ha Thanh village is the land of the Tay people, known for their beautiful stilt houses.

Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba is a famous landmark of Ha Giang with an altitude of over 1500m, about 43 km from Ha Giang city. The Heaven Gate is located between two mountain peaks and is low enough for a road to pass through. It is also the beginning of the road to happiness, the first gateway of Ha Giang. Standing on the mountain, you can see the panoramic view of the Northwest mountains and forests.
Lung Cam Cultural - Tourism Village - Lung Cam Cultural Village, located in the Sung La Valley, Ha Giang, is a traditional village of the Hmong, Lo Lo, and Han ethnic groups, renowned for its unique culture and timeless beauty. The village is known for its ancient earthen houses, blooming buckwheat flower fields, and peaceful scenery amidst majestic mountains. Lung Cam also gained fame as the filming location for the popular movie “The Story of Pao,” attracting visitors eager to explore the simple way of life, unique customs, and untouched beauty of the Dong Van stone plateau.
Lung Cu Flag Tower - Lung Cu Flagpole, located in Lung Cu Commune, Dong Van District, Ha Giang, marks the northernmost point of Vietnam and symbolizes the resilience of the nation. Standing at 33 meters tall, the flagpole is built on Dragon Mountain, offering a panoramic view of the majestic mountainous landscape. Built in the early 20th century, this mansion belonged to Vuong Chinh Duc, the Hmong leader of the time, and showcases a blend of Chinese, French, and Hmong architectural styles. Dong Van - 16:30: Arrive and check in at your hotel (or homestay) in Dong Van Town.
19:00: Enjoy dinner at the Old Quarter, followed by a leisurely walk.
Dong Van - Meo Vac - Hanoi (B,L)
Ma Pi Leng Pass - 07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the local market and savor coffee. Afterward, head to Meo Vac then visit Ma Pi Leng Pass.
Ma Pi Leng Pass is a renowned name among Vietnam’s challenging passes, with dangerous turns that test the skills of drivers and backpackers. The pass is 20km long, located at an altitude of 1,200 m, on the Dong Van stone plateau, curving along the middle of the mountain. Whether you are a backpacker or not, you have likely heard of the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass. It is one of the “four great passes” with beauty that is both wild and dangerous yet strangely charming and attractive. Ma Pi Leng is difficult to conquer, making it even more desirable to overcome its zigzag and winding roads surrounded by high, steep rocky mountains and deep abysses.
Nho Que River - Nho Que River, flowing through Meo Vac and Dong Van districts in Ha Giang, is one of the most beautiful rivers in northern mountainous Vietnam. With its emerald green waters, the river meanders through towering cliffs, creating stunning and majestic landscapes. Ha Giang - 13:00: Enjoy lunch at Yen Minh town.
15:30: Arrive at Rocks Ha Giang Restaurant to relax. Enjoy Tea Break Time with a welcome drink and fruit.
16:00: Depart from our office as the bus picks you up.
19:30: Arrive in Tuyen Quang, where the bus will stop for a rest stop. (Dinner is self-funded)
22:00: Arrive back in Hanoi.
