Highlights
  • Old Quarter - You’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to our bicycle store to select the perfect bike for your ride. Our guide will provide a briefing on how to navigate the city and the itinerary. Starting from our designated point, you’ll ride through less crowded alleys, offering a glimpse of local life. You’ll pass under the Long Bien Bridge, where you can observe the local market and daily activities. The journey continues through narrow alleys leading up to the Long Bien Bridge.
  • Long Bien Bridge - On the Hanoi city bicycle tour, we’ll head to Long Bien Bridge, a symbol of Hanoi’s resilience. Built by the Eiffel Construction company in 1902, it’s the oldest bridge in Hanoi. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the Red River. We’ll continue through the serene banana and corn farms on Red River Island, away from the bustling streets. This farming island, located in the heart of Hanoi, is rarely seen by travelers. You’ll visit a local family on the farm to learn about their lifestyle and enjoy tropical fruits.
  • Chua Tran Quoc - We’ll stop at Tran Quoc Pagoda to deepen your understanding of Buddhism in Vietnam. Hanoi is a prime destination for Buddhists, with many ancient pagodas and temples, especially around West Lake. Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest in Hanoi, is over 1500 years old and plays a significant role in Vietnam’s history, attracting thousands of visitors annually.
  • Hanoi Opera House - We’ll stand outside the Hanoi Opera House, which resembles the Opéra Palais Garnier. Built over ten years starting in 1911 by two French architects, this magnificent building is a top landmark in Hanoi. It hosts cultural performances, contemporary dance, orchestra concerts, and government events. Check the front gate for performance availability and tickets.
  • St. Joseph’s Cathedral - Construction of this cathedral began in 1886, with its architectural style reminiscent of Notre Dame de Paris. It was one of the first structures built by the French colonial government in Indochina and is the oldest church in Hanoi.
  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - We’ll stand outside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to learn about his life and the structure’s significance. This mausoleum is one of Vietnam’s most famous landmarks, attracting numerous domestic and international tourists each year due to its cultural and historical importance.
  • Huu Tiep Lake and the Downed B-52 - On the night of December 27, 1972, during the “Hanoi-Dien Bien Phu in the air” campaign, a B-52 bomber was shot down by Vietnamese soldiers, and part of it remains in Huu Tiep Lake in Ngoc Ha Ward, Ba Dinh District.
