Hanoi - Hoa Lu – Trang An – Mua Cave – Bungalow/Homestay Overnight (L/D)

Old Quarter - Guests will be picked up at hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area. The guide will arrive at the hotel, confirm the guest’s name with the receptionist for the tour, and then transfer to Ninh Binh Province, including a short break along the way.

Hoa Lu Temples of the Dinh & Le Dynasties - Visit Hoa Lu, the first capital of Vietnam, built in the 10th century. While Hanoi is the current capital, Hoa Lu held this honor in the 10th and 11th centuries. This small ancient city was naturally protected from invasions by karsts and rivers.

Trang An Landscape Complex - Stop for lunch at a local restaurant offering a variety of local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are always available in the buffet lunch. After lunch, guests will visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An features a stunning tunnel cave system, chosen by Kong’s Movie Group for the 2016 film “Skull Island.” After the boat trip, continue cycling to explore the countryside and local villages.

Mua Caves - Visit Mua Cave and embark on an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain to view the spectacular rice valley and the breathtaking natural scenery. Get a bird’s-eye view of Ninh Binh at Hang Mua, where 500 steps have been dramatically carved into the steep face of a mountain. At the top, a lookout point offers a surreal vista of the river winding lazily among paddies and limestone outcrops. At the end of the day, guests will be transferred to a bungalow/homestay. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the bungalow/homestay in Ninh Binh.

Ninh Binh to Bai Tu Long Bay Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)

Ninh Binh - Have breakfast and then check out of the bungalow. Between 6:45 am to 7:15 am, guests will board a group limousine heading to Bai Tu Long Bay.

Bai Tu Long Bay - This sample itinerary for overnight cruises:

11:30: Arrive at the cruise’s waiting lounge at the harbor, where guests will have some time to relax. Wait for the captain to complete the registration and transfer by tender to the boat.
12:35: Enjoy a welcome drink and a brief safety orientation on the boat and activities included, then check into the cabin.
13:00: A delicious Vietnamese set menu will be served while leisurely cruising further into Bai Tu Long Bay.
15:00: Arrive at the kayaking area known as Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming, and relaxing.
17:30: Return to the boat and enjoy a sunset party while the cruise sails to the overnight anchorage.
19:00: Sumptuous set dinner on board.
20:30: Free time to challenge yourself with Vietnamese puzzle games, gather with your group/family for a board game, try your luck with squid fishing, or simply have a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.

Explore Bai Tu Long Bay – Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)

Bai Tu Long Bay - 06:30: Start the day with a Tai Chi routine on the sundeck or catch a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.
07:00: Breakfast will be served in Western style, familiar to guests to fulfill their strength and prepare for another day of exploration.
8:45 – 09:00: Transfer to a day cruise, spend more time kayaking and swimming at Cong Dam, or relaxing on the boat. If the weather allows, guests can take a glance at Thay Cave before returning to the anchor point.
12:00: Return to the boat for a delicious hot lunch at noon.
14:30: Return to the main boat and enjoy a sunset party afterward.
15:30: Time for relaxation; guests can choose more time for kayaking, swimming, and relaxing.
17:30: Enjoy the sunset party.
19:00: Dinner will be served.
20:30: Free time for joining games, and guests may also try their luck with squid fishing.

Vung Vieng Fishing Village - 13:00: Cruise past several floating hamlets, including Cap La, and enter the center of the pristine Bai Tu Long Geology Park. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village to interact with local people.

Bai Tu Long Bay - Thien Canh Son Cave – Hanoi (B/L)

Bai Tu Long Bay - 06:00: Start the day with a Tai Chi routine on the sundeck or catch a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.
07:00: Breakfast will be served at the restaurant on the boat, familiar to guests to fulfill their strength and prepare for another day of exploration.
09:00: Upon returning to the boat, guests will have about 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing.
10:00: Attend a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. Quickly learn to make a simple but delicious Vietnamese dish called Nem Cuon.
10:15: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch on the boat.
11:40: Return to the harbor, and guests will say goodbye to the crew and Bai Tu Long Bay before heading back to Hanoi City.

Thien Canh Son Cave - Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave. Thien Canh Son Cave is a hidden gem nestled between the pristine waters of Bai Tu Long Bay. Old Quarter - At the harbor, guests will board a bus to transfer back to Hanoi City. Guests will be dropped off at their hotel/place in the Old Quarter Area between 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. End of the trip.
