Amazing cruise - Amazing overnight cruise of Halong Bay. The small cruise ship was very clean and comfortable and the service from the friendly crew/staff was exceptional. We’ll cruise with them again. Highly recommended.

Great ship, big rooms, very good service - The ship is relatively new and well equipped. The rooms are spacious and have a small balcony. The food on board is very good. Breakfast is served buffet style, dinner as a set menu. You will be asked in advance about any intolerances or things you don't like and the menu is tailored accordingly. The ship has relatively few rooms and is very spacious - you can always find a place somewhere and you never get the feeling that the boat is full. The service on board is very good, the staff are very friendly and mostly speak English. Although there are a lot of ships of this type in Halong Bay, you can find a place to anchor where you at least have the feeling that there aren't that many ships around. Kayak tours, squid fishing and a visit to a cave are offered. Thanks to the great views from the boat, you never get bored.

Best tour guide Tom! Amazing vegan food! - It was a beautiful ship! The room was gorgeous and the decor was lovely everywhere. They made exceptional vegetarian and vegan food. Some of the best food of our trip! We did a one night cruise and most of the time was spent relaxing onboard. The tour guide Tom was one of the best tour guides I have encountered. His English was impeccable. And he was friendly and always went an extra step to make our trip the best it possibly could be. We saw a cave and went kayaking. I would highly recommend all of the staff and this excellent experience. Thanks 😊

Amazing experience - My wife and I recently went on an overnight cruise with Le Theater. Entire trip right from picking us from Hotel to the time they dropped us back at hotel was well organized and professionally managed. Cruise had a great balcony view. Food was amazing. Staff are excellent. Our guide Tom was terrific, paid keen attention and made sure everyone's needs are taken care of. During trip, staff organized number of events including Kayaking, fishing and Cave boating etc. In summary, it was a wonderful cruise trip and I would highly recommend Le Theatre cruise.

A truly unforgettable experience - This is the perfect boat to explore one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. It only takes a maximum 45 people so it feels welcoming and personal. Sensational food and rooms too. Our Guide was also excellent. Great for families or couples

Excellent cruise - Everything was great from start to finish! The landscapes were magnificent! The meal, the activities, the rooms, and above all the service were excellent! A big thank you to Tom our guide, to all the members of the crew and particularly to André for his good humor, his kindness and his little Vietnamese lessons! I recommend !

Really great experience! - Really enjoyed our cruise! The weather was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and made our stay special. Our Tour Guide/Cruise Manager Tom was really friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us with non-seafood food. Also like to mention Jack who was great with drinks and service. Tour of cave was very interesting! This tour is not to be missed.

Not as good as I imagined - Well, I think this review is a bit complicated but I want to explain what didn't happen to us. The boat was under construction, they were painting it and giving it a facelift, which is very good. In fact, the boat itself seemed very beautiful to me. The problem? That we pay the consequences. We left the dock an hour late, no one gave any information and when I decided to ask their answer was, they will come in 5 minutes. We arrive at 1:00 p.m., instead of 12:00 p.m., we get on the boat and they give us food, normal food, Ok. We finished and went up to the rooms. The rooms were DIRTY, the floor was dirty, they had finished painting and everything smelled like paint and uninstalled curtains. Fatal. I have to say that my experience was not at all very unpleasant because of the room I had. The one with a terrace was truly spectacular, very large, the room itself was amazing. The activities and meals are good, I think all the ships do practically the same thing. The staff was really nice, but without a doubt the solution to the problem was quite brief. They offered us a free drink (drinks are not included) and when we returned to the pier they wrote me a WhatsApp offering me a transfer to the airport that I did not use because our trip continued to Ninh Binh. The question is, would I recommend the boat? Well yes, because what happened to us is something temporary that is surely already resolved.

It was not what was expected - It was not what I expected..., I thought it would be something unforgettable but it turned out to be just an experience that is soon forgotten. We board a boat that takes you to the ship; crossing of about 30 minutes with quite a lot of heat and without air conditioning, just some fans. During the ride, Tom, who seemed to be the manager, explained the program. Arrival at the boat and eating, just normal food. For 1 hour there was air conditioning in the dining room, but not in the rest of the common rooms. The room felt the passage of time and the air conditioning was not enough to be comfortable. The moment you go to eat the boat starts up... and moves for 1 hour, then it drops anchor and that's all you've traveled. The return would be the same. Before our boarding Tom asked us about our dietary needs/restrictions, we informed him that no seafood except for shrimp and squid. At dinner a seafood platter came with everything. We had to explain our situation and in front of us they separated the oysters and other bivalves. The man who served us at dinner wanted to be as friendly as possible but it turns out that I don't like someone peeling the shrimp that I'm going to eat even if they do it with plastic gloves. I had to insist that he stop handling the shrimp... In short, an experience that still perplexes me but I suppose it is customary there. It seems that the staff is instructed with a certain protocol in such a way that when something goes outside this protocol they are as disconcerted as Mr. was when I told him to leave the shrimp alone. After dinner I was hoping to have a drink on deck but to the surprise of many the bar was closed. THE next day Tom handed out a survey for us to complete. Our response was not very good and among other things we commented on the air conditioning. Our surprise was when he came to ask us for explanations as to why we had posted those negative comments!!! What if the air conditioning is like this on this and all boats, what if the boat is 5 stars when the maximum is 8, what if there was a problem with a generator... well excuses. If you do a survey, don't ask questions afterwards, otherwise don't do it. I do not recommend at all.
