• Old Quarter - Between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM: We will pick up guests from hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter area. Please be ready in your hotel lobby; our guide will check in with the receptionist for the tour to Mai Chau, Hoa Binh province.

• Thung Khe Pass - 8:00 – 10:30: As we travel along the winding pass, you’ll witness the living spaces of the local Muong and Thai communities, nestled between valleys and mountains.

10:45 - 11:30: Stop at the top of Thung Khe Pass to take in the panoramic views of Mai Chau Valley. You’ll also enjoy visiting a local market where Muong ethnic people sell their products.

• Mai Châu District Police - Mai Chau is a small town set in a lush valley surrounded by emerald-green rice fields, located 130 km west of Hanoi. This one-day tour is perfect for those who want to explore the natural beauty and unique cultures of Vietnam’s hill tribes but have limited time. You’ll experience the countryside, breathtaking scenery, and the wonders of Mai Chau Valley.

12:00: Arrive at Mai Chau Valley, take a rest, and have lunch (vegetarian options available). You’ll have some free time to get acquainted with the villagers.

13:00 - 12:00: After lunch, you’ll bike through narrow village paths, see terraced rice paddies and small villages, and discover the natural beauty of the valley. You’ll also encounter the culture of the ethnic minority Thai people during visits to Pom Coong and Na Phon villages.

• Old Quarter - 15:00: Guests will say goodbye to Mai Chau and drive back to their hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter area. The Mai Chau day tour will end around 18:30 - 19:00.
