- Dong Xuan Market - Established in 1889, Dong Xuan Market is located in a four-story Soviet-style building on the northern edge of Hanoi Old Quarter. A real slice of Hanoi life - Excellent tour. We saw a real slice of Hanoi life. The hectic flower market, a backstreet neighbourhood and a local market. Fascinating experience. Our guide was called Love. He was fantastic.

Delight for all senses. - The experience at the flower market was amazing. There were so many beautiful sights while walking around there and learning about the origin of the flowers and where they were going to go. That was followed up by taking trips to a few other markets and having a great breakfast that we never would have found alone. We also experienced the flag raising ceremony which was a really special experience.
