Hanoi – Ninh Binh Day Tour – Hotel/Bungalow Overnight (L/D)

Old Quarter - Guests will be picked up from hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area. The guide will arrive at the hotel, confirm the guest’s name with the receptionist for the tour, and then proceed to Ninh Binh Province. The drive takes approximately 2 hours, including a short break along the way.

Bai Dinh Pagoda - Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the most renowned and largest pagoda in Southeast Asia, known for its impressive records such as 500 Stone Arhat Statues, a 36-ton bronze Bell, and a 100-ton Buddha Statue. Guests will follow the guide to explore the pagoda and gain a deeper understanding of Buddhism in Vietnam. Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh Province is one of Vietnam’s most esteemed religious sites.

Trang An Grottoes - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring a variety of local dishes such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are always available in the buffet lunch. After lunch, guests will visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An boasts a magnificent tunnel cave system, which was chosen by Kong’s Movie Group for the 2016 film “Skull Island.”

Mua Caves - The final stop is Mua Cave (Dancing Cave), where guests can climb nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc. At the end of the day, guests will be transferred to a bungalow for check-in. They can relax and have dinner at the hotel/bungalow, enjoy free time to explore the local area, and stay overnight at the hotel/bungalow in Ninh Binh.

Ninh Binh to Lan Ha Bay Day Cruise – Hanoi (B/L)

Ninh Binh - After breakfast, guests will check out of their bungalow. Between 6:45 AM and 7:15 AM, they will board a group limousine heading to Halong Bay, a 4.5-hour drive. Arrival at Halong harbor is just before midday. Guests are welcomed on the cruise and will have lunch as the boat begins cruising, exploring Halong Bay—one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature—through remote Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, discovering many hidden splendors of untouched natural wonders.

Lan Ha Bay - This UNESCO World Heritage site is located in northeastern Vietnam’s Gulf of Tonkin, in Quang Ninh Province. The lush emerald and turquoise waters are home to over 1,600 mostly uninhabited and undisturbed islands and islets, according to UNESCO. Guests can explore Lan Ha Bay by kayaking or rowing a bamboo boat around the Bright and Dark Cave, enjoy the trampoline, water slide, swim, or simply relax on the boat in Lan Ha Bay. Back on the boat, guests can join a cooking class to learn how to make Vietnamese spring rolls. As the boat cruises back to the harbor, guests will participate in a Sunset Ceremony with tea and small cakes to enjoy the stunning view of the bay. Between 5:30 PM and 5:45 PM, guests will disembark at Tuan Chau Harbor in Halong Bay, bid farewell to the crew and the bay, and then transfer back to Hanoi Old Quarter, arriving between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM. This concludes the 2-day, 1-night package.
