Old Quarter - Guests will be picked up at hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area. Our guide will arrive at your hotel, confirm your name with the receptionist for the tour, and then transfer you to Ninh Binh Province. The drive takes about 2 hours, including a short break along the way.

Bai Dinh Pagoda - Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the most renowned and largest pagoda in Southeast Asia, known for its many records such as 500 Stone Arhat Statues, a 36-ton bronze Bell, and a 100-ton Buddha Statue. Our guide will lead you through the pagoda, providing insights into Buddhism in Vietnam. Located in Ninh Binh Province, Bai Dinh Pagoda is one of Vietnam’s most esteemed religious sites. Close to the Trang An Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is a must-visit for culture enthusiasts.

Trang An Landscape Complex - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring a variety of local dishes such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are also available in the buffet lunch. After lunch, visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An boasts an impressive tunnel cave system, which was chosen as a filming location for the 2016 movie “Kong: Skull Island.” The Trang An boat tour is a top activity for travelers in Ninh Binh, offering a peaceful boat trip through caves and temples.

Mua Caves - Return to the Limousine Bus and head to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Climb nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain for a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc. Known for its natural beauty, Mua Cave is often referred to as “The Great Wall of Vietnam” or “Tam Coc’s Muse.” It is considered the most stunning viewpoint in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. At the end of the day, guests will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Relax and have dinner at the hotel, then enjoy free time to explore the local area and stay overnight in Ninh Binh.

Ninh Binh to Halong & Lan Ha Bay Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)

Halong Bay - 6:45 - 7:00: After breakfast, check out of your room in the hotel/bungalow. A shared limousine bus will pick you up from your accommodation in Ninh Binh and transfer you to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise (no guide during transfer). The drive to Halong Bay takes about 4 to 4.5 hours. At 11:30 AM, upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, you will be welcomed by the receptionist at the cruise’s waiting lounge and check into your room. Then, enjoy lunch at the cruise restaurant as the luxury cruise departs to explore Lan Ha Bay.

Lan Ha Bay - This is a sample itinerary for luxury overnight cruises in Halong Bay: Cruise from Halong Bay to the less touristy Lan Ha Bay, passing by stunning islands and islets. Enjoy kayaking in pristine areas of Lan Ha Bay and swimming in tranquil lagoons. Relax onboard and watch the sunset. After returning to the boat, conclude your trip with a hearty brunch as the ship sails back to the harbor. At 11:00, disembark at the harbor. We hope you enjoyed your time with us and wish you a safe onward journey. Wave goodbye to the boat from the harbor and return to Hanoi, arriving in the late afternoon around 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. This marks the end of the 2-day, 1-night package.
