Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave – Hotel/Bungalow Overnight (L/D)
Old Quarter - Guests will be picked up from hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area. The guide will arrive at your hotel, confirm your name with the receptionist for the tour, and then transfer you to Ninh Binh Province, located 100 km from Hanoi Old Quarter. The drive takes approximately 2 hours, including a short break along the way.
Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - Upon arrival at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, you will visit the Dinh King temple and Le King temple from the 10th century, learning about the heroic histories of these two kings during the Chinese Wars. Hoa Lu is recognized as the first capital of Vietnam, featuring numerous historical landmarks. In 968, King Dinh Bo Linh of Dai Co Viet (an old name for Vietnam) established his capital in Hoa Lu and ruled until 980.
Tam Coc - Enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant offering a variety of local dishes such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are also available. After lunch, visit Tam Coc by bamboo boat and be captivated by the enchanting beauty of the paddy fields, river, water, clouds, sky, and a magnificent cave system during the boat trip. This area is often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land.” Continue the tour with a cycling excursion around the village to explore the local lifestyle.
Mua Caves - Proceed to visit Mua Cave, where you will climb 500 stone steps to the top of the mountain to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river. Mua Caves (Hang Múa in Vietnamese) or Dancing Cave is renowned for its exquisite natural beauty, earning it the nickname “The Great Wall of Vietnam” or “Tam Coc’s Muse.” It is considered the most beautiful viewpoint in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. At the end of the day, guests will be transferred to a Bungalow for check-in. Relax and have dinner at the Bungalow/Hotel. Enjoy your free time exploring the local area and spend the night at a bungalow/hotel in Ninh Binh.
Ninh Binh – Halong Bay Day Cruise – Hanoi (B/L)
Halong Bay - After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Between 7:00 AM and 7:15 AM, board a group limousine heading to Halong Bay, a 4.5-hour drive. Arrive at Halong harbor just before noon, board the Luxury Day Cruise, and enjoy a Vietnamese buffet lunch while cruising past the most beautiful islets in Halong Bay, such as Dog Islet, Incense Burner Islet, and Fighting Cock Islet.
Sung Sot Cave - Explore Sung Sot Cave (The Surprising Cave). You can participate in kayaking or bamboo rowing boat activities, or relax on the large boat if you prefer more leisure time.
Ti Top Island - Next, visit Titop Island, where you can trek to the peak for photos with a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay. Finally, cruise back to the harbor for the transfer back to the Hanoi Old Quarter Area in the late evening, between 8:30 PM and 8:45 PM. This concludes the 2-day, 1-night tour package.
