The bridge was built in 1899-1902 by the French, at the time one of the longest in Asia at 2500 meters. Nowadays it is only used for trains, pedestrians, bicycles and motorbikes. You will have dinner at a nice local restaurant nearby. \n\nWhile having your meal and enjoying the view, about every 30 minutes, you will see the trains coming or leaving Hanoi slowly on the bridge like the scene of an old movie. You even can hear the sound from the train.\n\nFollowing dinner, you will jump on a motorbike and cross over the Red River on the historic Long Bien Bridge.
