Have you ever wanted to sneak a glimpse inside the illustrious New Town Hall’s normally inaccessible rooms? HMTG provides an intriguing guided tour of the New Town Hall, including an exclusive peek into selected chambers. The New Town Hall, fashioned in the grandeur of the Wilhelmine era, was constructed in the early 20th century. Its dome reaches an astounding 97.73 meters to its gilded peak.
Within its walls, you can observe the evolution of Hanover through city models representing four distinct periods: 1689, 1939, post-1945 destruction, and present times.
An inclined elevator transports visitors to an observation deck for a spectacular view of Hanover. Please be aware that the City Hall tour does not encompass the tower ascent. Tickets for the climb to the City Hall tower can be acquired directly at the tourist information counter in the New Town Hall.
