Historic beauty - We had a couple days in Hanover, Germany and decided to take a private walking tour with a professional guide. Our guide Anna was fantastic. She met us in the heart of the city and our adventure began. Each turn was like a walk though a different time in history. There are still walls intact from the 14th century. The city had to almost completely rebuild after WWII since a vast majority was destroyed by bombing. The city did an amazing job of keeping the historic feel while at the same time acknowledging the damage of war. Hanover is beautiful and definitely worth a stop.
